Governor Pence was pleased to welcome Mr. Trump back to Indiana and hear firsthand his plans for the country. The Governor was also grateful for the opportunity to describe Indiana's economic success and expressed his desire to have a partner in the White House who will help advance pro-growth economic policies, reduce burdensome regulation and curb the size and scope of government. With more than 130,000 new private sector jobs created since he took office, Governor Pence believes addressing these issues is critical in order for Indiana to continue to be a great place to live, work and raise a family.

He will. The ‘Fire Pence’ crowd are the unions and typical 60s era libtards pissed about right to work and that incompetent State education supervisor he pushed to the side after several debacles.
Yep.
Some of the smart GOPe in states where Trump’s especially popular are climbing on board while their support is still most needed and valuable.
How does one expect that someone HAS been a Cruz guy?
Haven’t heard Pence speak out for Cruz yet.
When Pence retired from Congress, I figured he was getting set to run for president. He'd make a fine president.
LOL, no.
Was not Christie ahead of the Republican Governors Association? If so he probably knows Pence quite well.
I assume Carrier would sell to the people not stupid enough to earn $3 per day. But you miss the point. The average wage in Zimbabwe is about $3 per day, why didn't Carrier move to Zim? The easy answer is corruption and the government's habit of seizing private property. US has its own form of corruption in the form gov't overreach, tax and Govt/Union cronyism. When these factors increase costs, they will move overseas to markets in which labor offsets the cost of corruption.
Pence is meeting with all 3 Republican candidates on the May 3rd ballot.
Supposedly meeting with Cruz today.
Trump holds rally. Cruz holds fundraiser.
That, and some are still butthurt over the RFRA and more recently the new law banning abortions for Downs babies and preferred sex.
And that is why free to buy is important. Without the ability to take your own hard earned money and spend it as you see fit then unions and rent seeking slime balls will enrich themselves at your expense.
If I agree to limit steel imports will the USW agree not to make steel more expensive by striking for ever more lavish pay and benefits?
Carrier not only escapes the UAW but they also escape tariffs on steel and the probably get lower energy costs and less government hassle. The good news is high paying engineering, design, and marketing jobs will stay in the US. Tough luck for the blue collar workers. But they, mostly, continue to support the Dems and therefore the EPA, FTC, OSHA, EEOC, trial lawyers. etc.. Why does an autoworker support the EPA?
Interestingly enough I wonder how many of those workers will be “Mexicans” and not Guatemalans or Salvadorans.
Little Donald hanging out with his GOPe pals again, I see ;) Hey, what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
But seriously, how is punishing companies that move jobs out-of-country supposed to make those companies view the US as a friendly business climate? It would be far better if Trump talked more about how he’d make the climate friendlier here and less about how he’s ‘never buying a Carrier AC unit again’. Threats and bullying won’t work if a company knows its going to get killed by staying in the US labor market.
“Chris Christie would make a great Luca Brasi. He fits the part. Either Pence endorses Trump or Christie will line up a horses head in Pences bed.”
Does that make Trump Don Cornholeone?
Tiny Teddie is hanging out with Pence today
You will note Pence is meeting with all 3 GOP candidates, so nice try... but only one candidate has GOPe poster-boy Chris Christie joined at the hip with him, and that’s Little Donald.
For all his talk, Little Donald has been an insider for decades. In many ways, he’s the most “establishment” candidate running, outside of Madame Hillary.
already posted that. So nice try to tell me something I've already noted on this thread.
There's nothing "insider" about meeting with the Governor of a Republican majority state.
I’ve been seeing a number of bright red “Fire Pence” signs popping up in my very Republican neighborhood...
Pence is not very popular here ever since he mishandled the religious liberty bill...has not recovered and could be in trouble in November...
Candidates should be wary of sidling up to him...
Good point, actually. And now that I think about it, I heard is from Patricia Miller (State Rep) and second hand from Jerry Torr (State Rep).
Now that I research it, I see the Pence has not announced support for either officially. He is also meeting with Cruz, however.
We may get to the point where most people are only making $3 per hour. At that stage where is their market?
UT, the parent company of Carrier, made billions in profit last year. If that is how define getting killed sign me up.
