That's not what he said. He said he opposes the move to make new non gender bathrooms which are open to anyone because that would be "discriminatory in a way" and terribly expensive.

Are you being snarky or just ignorant. Trump did not say let men use women’s restrooms. He said transgenders.
Now the whole concept is repulsive, but transgenders have been going to the bathrooms of their choice, by necessity, all along.
