The Florida delegation = 99 and that represents 1,079,870 Trump republican Floridians. Each Florida delegate = over 10,000 Trump republican votes.
Those voters chose Donald Trump. It is reprehensible to consider that Cruz or other GOPe surrogates are scheming or bribing this men and women to falsify their allegiance.
And due FL being a W-T-A state, those 99 Floridians actually now represent all Floridian republicans that voted = 2,361,805. 1 delegate = 24,000 votes.
Cruz is a relentless schemer.
One could make the argument that it being winner take all the losing cadidates voters are not being represented at all. Just a thought though
Here is my problem which cruz and his supporters can’t understand.
If the rules state you can bribe delegates and they do then how does that help cruz or make him stringer in a general when it is the voters who vote and cruz has only won 4 states , including his own?
It doesn’t.
This needs to be pointed time and time again to these delegates and if they want to be responsible for voting for a man who can’t get voters to vote for him.
Lok at the swing states. FL,VA,OH, and possibly NH.
He came third or worse in all of them, never won a single county in two of them.
What part of that does cruz not understand about people need to vote for you to make you in a striong position.
Anyone who thinks that delegates to a political convention must act like elected representative are smoking some illegal substance. They are only bound to vote as prescribed for a candidate on the first or in some cases second ballot. The convention delegates vote on their own rules via their own conscious.
