Harrisburg, PA
(Pennsylvania German: Harrisbarig) is the capital city of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania and the county seat of Dauphin County. With a population of 49,673, it is the tenth-largest city in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
Harrisburg's site is thought to have been inhabited by Native Americans as early as 3000 BC. The first European contact with Native Americans in Pennsylvania was made by the Englishman, Captain John Smith, who journeyed from Virginia here in 1608 and visited with the local tribe. In 1719, In 1785, John Harris, Jr. made plans to lay out a town on his father's land, which he named Harrisburg. In the spring of 1785, the town was formally surveyed by William Maclay, who was a son-in-law of John Harris, Sr. In 1791, Harrisburg became incorporated and was named the Pennsylvania state capital in October 1812, and has been since.

Sounds like my kind of fun!! I hope it works out with everyone’s schedule. What a fun time/memory, it will be.
Private reply the name to me...I will add it to my list and let you know when I go there.
I am currently collecting unwanted Beanies to take next visit...I have 12 of the red white blue or confetti and mixed colors. Many have a flag or USA embroidery.
My Flea Market collector friends are helping find them. When I stop in their booth it is not unusual to have them grab a bag they have tucked away and give it to me...sometimes they won’t even take the 2
$ that they now charge...1$ they will accept...sometimes.
I have a few of the beanie babies too. I will tie a ground stake with patriotic ribbon to each one. If I plan ahead I even use gold metallic liquid embroidery to add the name or person’s name wishing it be left there...TO TOM from AUNT SUE is one I did last time.
I’ve seen probably 8 or 10 Donald Trump speeches in full.
One of the things that I’ve seen in a couple of them that is really striking is the visible impact on his demeanor when he describes driving past empty factories, closed manufacturing and dilapidated housing.
It’s almost like he is resisting physical pain as he is experiencing the devastation of our nation’s economy under the current Administration and previous ones who have sold America’s heart and soul to other countries by exporting our entire manufacturing base.
I just don’t know that there’s any other candidate who actually cares about America’s might, power, sustainability, and strength in the world.
Donald actually seems to get choked up.
It IS staggering to try and consider what must be done— the extent of what has to happen in order to bring Americas manufacturing and Engineering capacity back to being the world standard instead of the butt of the world’s jokes about our incompetence and corruption.
Yeah I heard something about that too.
Landslide after landslide. Why he’s won virtually all except the ones that he didn’t which is the majority either of states or of people. Ted has trouble wherever people actually vote.
My understanding is that compared to previous Texas Senators he also crapped out in his own state... lowest percentage ever!
I guess it’s hard to be a favorite son when you’re actually from Canada and not Texas.
I do think ted is pretty much out of the picture at this point. And I do think Donald has the nomination sowed up as far as delegate count goes.
But I’m really anxious to see him get started on ripping Hillary open and secondarily we need to see that Donald starts establishing some real coattails in Congress and in the Statewide elections.
I see what you say.
The man is real.
Why do you think 90% of bikers are for Trump?
They respect real.
They respect a man.
They love America and the military.
They are dog-loyal to him.
[we freaking detest fakes and phonies]
I have *never* seen bikers go so far in for a candidate or suddenly be so politically involved.
It’s amazing.
Finally got a few to talk to Sis about the INDY rally. She asked what impressed me most It was the men who didn’t loose eye contact with him as he spoke That connection. As loud as the room was when he first appeared there was time during the “conversation” when the room was totally quiet. The only thing one could hear was his voice and then on cue the room erupted again. Not only does he talk the language of the people , they are willing and anxious listeners.
One thing I realized he didn’t dwell on “jobs moving to Mexico”. But spent his time on the PEOPLE in the room from Carrier who had lost their jobs.
Morning prayers for the Donald , his family and our great(Er) Nation
Time to put this thread to bed. So, grab you coffee, tea or your bird and mosey on over to a really rip roaring exciting rally in one of Delawares hot spots.
