Cruz gets zero delegates yesterday, and so is mathematically eliminated from a first-ballot victory. And then - all of a sudden - it’s a contested convention.
Quite a coincidence there.
But I could swear I just heard Cruz tell Hannity that Trump just lost 5 elections in a row and couldn’t run a lemonade stand. But I have a question. Is it technically an election when all the delegates are all picked by party insiders at a “convention” and the people don’t get to vote for the nominee of their choice? Because that doesn’t feel much like an election to me.
