I thought so too. The only thing I could come up with is at least a handful were paid trolls. Seems odd though that some had older sign up dates...? I also noticed screen names I had never seen before that had older sign up dates. Something sure seemed fishy to me.
I have been here long enough to witness many political disagreements, this was far different though.
I noticed all of these unknown names with ancient sign-up dates, many or most trumpistas, and posted a few times about them. Checked their posting records, and they were SPARSE, or almost non-existant. Anyway, FR has really taken a turn for the worse since Trump. There is an evil odor in the air now.
In at least a couple of cases, the behavior is that of a paid troll. Nobody invites that much back-pressure for free.
