This campaign season has been more divisive than most but we always seem to be able to put that behind us when the dust settles. I hope that's the case this year.

I more and more believe that whoever enters the convention with the most votes and the most delegates will win the nomination. The party elite may not like it but they don't want to be the cause of a disastrous election, no matter what they say now.

If Cruz and Trump can put their bruised feelings aside I think they could be the most formidable ticket we can hope for.

I would vote for Trump with Cruz as the VP. But I won’t vote for him unless he has a true conservative on the ballot with him. He will need someone strong, especially for the SCOTUS nominations.

Cruz is thoroughly GOPe, as is Kasich.

That is why if DJT took either of them for VP, I believe we’d see another JFK/LBJ and RR/GHWB scenario.

IMO

Yes, except for the fact that Ted is constitutionally ineligible to hold the office of VP, he's a Harvard lawyer and freshman senator like Obama, is entirely wooden and unlikable, AND he's made common cause with the establishment elites.

Other than that, he'd be a fine choice for the ticket.
