TRUMP TRIES OUT FOR NEW ROLE: PRESUMPTIVE NOMINEE

The Republican nominating process has evolved for a moment just such as this: helping a damaged frontrunner stave off a challenge from a conservative insurgent and avoiding the threat of a chaotic convention.

What nobody knew was that the frontrunner this year would be Donald Trump.

And as Trump showed both in his remarks after his resounding victory in his home state and the promise of big money for the Republican consultant class, he is willing to try to play the part that was written for another player: Mr. Inevitability.

Haven’t seen that mad hatter in a while. You sure she’s still around? If so, still matters?

If so, not to me.

What has been thrown at Trump is minor compared to what’s coming his way.

Actually, he's had it from all sides. The regular rat media, the GOPE, and the supposedly "principled conservative" Cruz.

If Cruz had one tenth of the bad press Trump got, one tenth of the negative crap thrown at him, he'd be polling under ten per cent right now.

He would have been burnt to a crisp.

Trump knows how to do this, and he's not afraid to go after the Clinton/rat machine, unlike the rest of them.

Let’s see how the next 5 states play out. I believe Trump is up over 50% in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and leading big in the others too.

When the results are in for those states, we will see how that affects the other voters in other states. I’m thinking the voters will break by higher numbers for Trump as we already see in California.

At this time, Trump is ramping up a team for the general election for the onslaught from the dem machine. Within the next 4 weeks it should be so obvious he has the nomination that ramping up for the rats will be his only focus.

Fox News has become an arm of the Trump campaign.

The prognosis prior to New York was that Donald could not get to 1237. That assumed that he would win New York.

Nothing has really changed. He won New York as expected.

By the way, does anyone think that New Yorkers would vote for Donald over Hillary. They will go back to their roots.

But, I’ve been wrong before

I doubt you will be wrong on this one. Trump is who he is, he's not going to change the habits and traits of a lifetime. He will be bombastic, insulting, narcissistic, and politically incorrect. He'll shoot from the hip and say anything that happens to be in his mind at the moment, which will give full time employment for people to walk back his statements of the previous day. In short, as you said, the same Trump he was in the primaries prior to Wisconsin.

I think you're right.

I hope Cruz decides to stop his kamikaze run soon. It's time for him to show some class and unify behind Trump.

Not really. Let me know when Donald gets 1237.

Oh God. Google it. Lewendowski got demoted, Paul Manafort took over. He’s a lobbiest for a Palestinian intelligence front group. He’s now running Trump’s campaign.
And Gingrich, well you should know about him.

14% last night, zero delegates.

He's toast.

Time to get on with his life now. Time to be classy and bow out gracefully.

Trump: "Who?"

Nice spin but Trump did not bother to assemble a good team.

He was hampered by his rule of never hiring anyone smarter than himself.

His little buddy, Corey, was excellent at protecting him from 100 pound women but not so good at strategy.

He’s hired a thug and a has-been who has been out of Republican politics since Dole but active in Russian politics. This guy immediately bulls his way to the top and elbows out the rest of the team.

The Trump team is now busy with infighting and cannot possibly catch up to the Cruz people.

I'll go overseas. British bookies will give better odds.

But if you really think I'm wrong then you haven't been watching your man very closely.

Go overseas and bet the farm. You won’t. Your opinion is worthless in this regard!
