Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz is mathematically eliminated from winning the GOP nomination on the first ballot, according to the Associated Press.
GOP front-runner Donald Trump is now the only Republican candidate who can clinch the nomination before the GOP convention in July, as there arent enough remaining delegates for either Cruz or John Kasich to reach the 1,237 threshold.

`Water Lillies,’ Me too. His vision was failing and that’s what he saw, right? Critics applied the term `impressionists’ to his school and they liked it so it stuck.
IMHO,
there’s a reason Cruz’s records are sealed.
Although Trump gave him a gracious congratulation after Iowa, due to Cruz’s inexplicable narcissism, look at his failure to congratulate Trump last night. He gave a Stassenesque windy speech, just to hear himself talk.
There are a lot of Obama parallels with Cruz: cloudy origins. Daddy complex. Shady backers. Harvard law. Job-hopping, green senator. Odd wife. More but I can’t recall all of them.
Like soap opera actors grown on a Hollywood set, I think they grow guys like Obama and Cruz on a tree in Harvard yard. We don’t need another Uniparty sock puppet.
He should drop out now that it is clear that continuing would only confirm his job as designated GOP-e spoiler for a contested convention, a last minute rules change and then the foisting upon us of a loser like Ryan or Romney.
Or even Yeb. Hard to believe? We gave them Congress but Planned Parenthood’s ghoulish activities are still being funded. Insane rant over.
LOLOL
I dont even think after this, Cruz will be re elected in Texas...
ummm, Cruz handily won Texas over Trump; Trump completely lost Utah to Cruz, your homestate. BTW, why don’t you do your part in Utah and throw out Orrin Hatch.
You have to be in it to be eliminated. Kasich was never in it.
The people’s choice? In every state except New York, the people chose someone other than Trump.
Well, Ted and the GOPe have that in common...they both know how to spend money hand over fist. He’ll be great in D.C.
Cruz has repeatedly called for Kasich to drop out of the race since it is mathematically impossible for Kasich to win.
Will Rafeal drop out once he is mathematically eliminated or will he be a hypocrite?
If you want to believe that garbage you go right ahead...
I went to my caucus in Utah, walked in the room, ballots all over the place, my neighbor and I asked if we were in the Trump room and they said, they are all together, meaning Trump and Cruz...ok, some lady handed my neighbor and I a handful of ballots, not one, no ID, nothing, just a handful of ballots...and went thru the room and did the same thing...
You could have, if you were dishonest, taken all the ballots and marked them, when we went up to get them stamped, the lady made a mark and said to throw it in the box, which was a carboard box, sitting on the desk, not a locked box or a regular ballot box...
This is an election? I looked around the room and people were filling out two and three ballots...this is right?
You can take your lying, creepy, slithering POS Cruz and his whole lying family and you know where to put them, I imagine your old enough to know where that is!!!
Don’t EVER respond to me again, I don’t like people who condone LIARS, CHEATERS, CREEPS and SLITHERING SNAKES!!!
The problem is that just as the convention is full of Cruz delegates posing as Trump delegates, there are permanent delegates serving the GOPE. These consist of a boat load of elected establishment officials, from the states and from DC, and from past administrations.
The GOPE will be represented on ALL those Committees, just as well as TRUMP and Cruz.
The GOPE *is* the convention. The convention is the Republican Party first and foremost, and not Cruz first. The GOPE own that convention.
Further, now that it is publically known that Cruz has been doubling back to states he lost and stealing the winner’s delegates, converting their allegiance to TRUMP over to Cruz instead with this Second Ballot campaign, look for that all to change.
Going forward you will see TRUMP delegates successfully posing as Cruz delegates.
You may very well even see stealth Cruz delegates removed from the floor of the Convention. If they replaced true supporters of TRUMP at their state conventions, who were rejected because they said they were for TRUMP, these tricky dickies can be legally removed by TRUMP forces.
When they depart they will not have their expenses reimbursed, either. Unless Cruz wants to pay off their futile exercise.
Time for Felito to exit the race.
“I truly hope your interpretation comes true, but I honestly dont believe delegates think that way. Ive heard a number of delegates when they called into conservative radio shows, especially after the Colorado exposure. They all sound alike in their arrogant superiority, their you dont understand the process condescension, their recitation of the history of delegates voting in lieu of the people, their willingness to vote outside the party for Hillary to preserve the status quo. They fully believe they are in the right and the complainers are just stupid folk.”
With sadness, I have to agree with Shugee. There is a spiritual dimension to this. A Father of Lies factor within the Cruzlim camp. They look at that face and see God. They believe in transnational Christian jihad. They blame the failure of Christians for the failures of oily Felito. They embrace the inane false prophecies of a cult. I say again, there is a spiritual aspect to this thing, and the Cruzlims are on the wrong side of it. Trump -must- win this the hard way.
“Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conqured; yet we hacve this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.” Thomas Paine, The American Crisis
Ditto that thought.
Think of the millions of Americans that would have been the descendants of all those fine soldiers. We’d be functioning as a Constitutional Republic instead of a Globalist Oligarchy.
Hey, if you don’t like Utah’s process, then change it. I had nothing to do with it. Don’t waste time trying to convince Texans not to reelect Ted Cruz when you have your own trash to take out. Anyway, if the Texas primary election was an indicator, he’ll get reelected despite your complaints. If you want to change that, move to Texas and vote. You’re spittin’ in the wind.
“Anyway, if the Texas primary election was an indicator, hell get reelected despite your complaints.”
Maybe. Maybe not.
And that was BEFORE Felito became the mouthpiece of BLM.
The establishment and uni-party doesn't want to lose it's grip on power which they have used to Allow China to perform the greatest theft in history of us, by stealing U.S. factories, industries, wealth.
Go Trump!
It’s not “stealing” anything and you know it. Trump if he wants them to vote for him after they are unbound he has some work to do. This has been the case for centuries...if Trump doesn’t like it he should have worked to change the rules before he lost.
People can say the same thing about Hannity though too. Talk show hosts can’t win for losing no matter who they prefer the other side will accuse them of playing to advertisers.
Rush is in the tank for Cruz because his handlers want the advertising revenue.
Hannity is in the tank for Trump because he wants the ratings and advertising $$$ that Trump brings his show.
The peoples choice? In every state except New York, the people chose someone other than Trump...
What? Trump is the people’s choice. Trump is not only ahead in delegate count, he is over 2 million votes (from the people) ahead. In almost every multiple person race, the winner gets less than 50 percent. If getting over 50 percent is your guide to winning, real life says different. Many, many people have won races being under that threshold.
I see you missed the point of the article too.
BOOMER! :)
