If Cruz was an honorable man he would concede the campaign to Trump.
Cruz? Honorable? lol. A guy that uses his young children for campaign ads.
He’s turned out to be a real schemer. Some people can pull off high ambition, but Cruz looks worse every day he pursues this convention gambit.
After hearing Cruz’s calls for Kasich to drop out since he has no way to win 1237 delegates, I wonder if Cruz will take his own advice when it becomes impossible for him to achieve that total.
Cruz might have made a good President twenty years ago. What his base fails to account for is that the majority of voters outside of FR don’t care about Cruz’s conservative Constitutionalism.
It is not a concern or motivating force to pull the lever. A host of other issues are the priority motivators in making their choice for a candidate. Certainly, outside the republican party, his platform falls on deaf ears. Independents and democrats outnumber republicans in many states. Without their votes were are destined to lose. We are being outnumbered.
Nominating a president becomes making the decision between who might possibly be the most conservative president and who can actually win the general election.
