No, Durbin, I’m telling you that sometimes your guy loses in the primary. I understand that, believe me - it has happened literally every time from 1988 to 2012 for me. Yet, I still voted for the Republican every time (well, except for 1992, and I have regretted that ever since, even though my vote didn’t matter).

What I AM asking you, and others like you, to do is to look at the big picture. ONLY a largely unified Republican Party can hope to win in November. Continuing this fight is worse than pointless, it is self-defeating. Whatever our (and that is a collective “our” - not you and me) differences, they absolutely pale in comparison with the differences that we have with ALL Dems. Time to bury the hatchet and fight the common enemy. Cruz is young, he will have other opportunities...but I can’t say the same about our fragile country with another 4 or 8 years under corrupt, Leftist leadership.

Actually Trump gets such large cross overs that Trump doesn’t need strident Cruz followers IMO. As long as Trump is only dealing with Dem PACs and not Republican PACs against him he will still kick ass.

Oh I am. And it doesn’t include Trump or Hillary or Bernie. Therefore if it comes down to that. I won’t participate.
