In conventional conservative doctrine, the mainstream press and much of the new media are little more than arms of Democratic Party officialdom. Also, bigotry and misogyny are no longer widespread problems, in the right’s telling—and to the extent that they still exist, they are no more prevalent on the right than on the left.

In their efforts to stop Trump, conservatives have sidelined these and other premises about American political culture, so that the generic liberal critique of conservatism might be deployed against him and him alone.

You failed to read the link I sent you and the whole leftist/GOPe false narrative of Trump is pretty much debunked by a fellow Freeper citing Trump’s books going back to the 80’s and his long-time conservative positions as a businessman and citizen.

Trump is turning out to be a far more on the principled side of conservatism than Ted Cruz will ever be in reality if you would learn to shake labels. While Ted Cruz may have the label of conservative, aligning with the enemies of our Constitution, only proves that in name only and you obviously approve.

There are far more issues at stake like preserving our Constitution and freedom & liberty but jwalsh07 thinks this is funny.

We can’t help it if jwalsh07 has sided with the Cruz campaign that has now aligned itself with the anti-liberty and anti-freedom side of the spectrum. I don’t find that funny at all with Cruz’s decision to align with them and try to win this thing at all costs. There is nothing conservative about that.
