Both NBC and Cruz FORGET that the NORTHEAST is pretty much a TRUMP LAKE.

That would probably be the last straw. The current CO/WY theft has boosted Trump to over 40 in one poll, over 53 in another. This should get him to an averate in RCP of over 50, and alienate the last of the truly undecided.

St. Ted is clearly a crook.

I am amazed that the Cruzers just ignore the reality that St. Ted didn’t win ONE SINGLE COUNTY in VA, FL, OH, or, today, NY.

The headline is awfully definitive for a body text that boils down to a Cruz campaign aide saying "yeah, we're tying."

I mean, what are they supposed to say? "We're going to get crushed"? Cruz's campaign won't even say that about New York.

I think this article isn’t accurate. From what I’ve heard in PA, most of the potential delegates say they will vote for whoever wins their district and that looks likely to be Trump if he wins big statewide. They’ll have a very difficult time seeing their district won by Trump and then just flip and support Cruz.

Trump has 37% of the vote and thinks he’s entitled to the nomination. Cruz has 28% of the vote and he and his campaign are working hard to secure the delegates required to secure the nomination.

Cruz wins on second ballot. Trump will whine and cry. Losers usually do.

The Cruz campaign has devolved into a giant middle finger to the idea of representation.

The title is poorly written or very slanted.

Cruz can WIN nothing if he comes in third in Pennsylvania.

The fact that 54 of PA’s delegates are free means they are free now. One doesn’t ‘win’ them, instead arrangements are made with them.

where they are looking to make a play for these unbound delegates.

----------

That is the GOP version of the Democrat "super delegates" - a delegate system designed to be used by the party elites to ensure their power.

Don’t you understand by now, it doesn’t matter if Cruz wins them. If he doesn’t win them, he will steal them two weeks from now.

Go Cruz! Keep outsmarting them by playing by the rules. Simply the best way to win!

Hahaha.. sorry, but wishful thinking. Yes delegates are unbound, but polling of the delegates on the ballot a full 2/3 state they intend to follow the district vote.. another 1/3 say they will vote for their guy no matter who wins their district, and of that 1/3 the breakdown is about 50/50 Trump and Cruz... so not bloody likely at all that Cruz will win the delegate count out of PA.

“Even if they come in a distant third, a top campaign aide tells me, they will still, they believe, pick up more than half the delegates there.”

The will of the voter cropped on again.

Excuse my language.

But this is SO wrong, I don’t care which candidate you’re for. That the country isn’t in an uproar makes me sure we are done as a country our founding fathers sacrificed for.

Another cheap attempt at influencing the voters.

The fact that it emanated from NBC tells you that.

Giving up on NY to go to PA to try and steal some more delegates. Cruz gets most of his delegates where people don’t actually vote or their votes don’t count.

How does he think this strategy would work in the general election?

It wouldn’t, but it doesn’t matter because Ted will not be the nominee.
