Rep. Peter King (R., N.Y.) has never been shy about expressing his loathing for Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), and he was at it again Tuesday on Morning Joe, saying he hated Cruz and would take cyanide if he become the Republican nominee.
Co-host Willie Geist read out a quote from King in which he said any New Yorkers who thought of voting for Cruz in Tuesdays primary should have their head examined.
What happens tonight on the Republican side? How big does Donald Trump win? Geist asked.
First of all, in case anybody is confused, I am not endorsing Ted Cruz, King said. I hate Ted Cruz, and I think Ill take cyanide if he ever got the nomination.
The Morning Joe panel roared with laughter.
King added he thought the polls would bear out and Trump would win handily in New York, although he added he voted for Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

I can’t vote for Cruz any more than I could vote for Obama, neither of them are qualified to be POTUS
Works for me.
I’d love to see Cruz get the nomination for this alone. King is one arrogant piece of corrupt liberal Republican crap!
Me, too. It’s time to thin out the herd. The RINO herd
I won’t take cyanide but will pour it on my ballot after writing in Trump and voting Dem down ticket bc I’ll never be able to vote R again. Lying Ted can only steal or cheat via a rigged system and liars and cheats won’t get the votes from a majority of Americans. Cruz would lose the biggest landslide in the history of elections, even against Hitlery.
75% are rejecting him now.
I believe so.
Hmmm... I don’t believe he said that on FBN early this morning. (The strongest memory I have of Peter King is defending Clinton during impeachment.)
I'll never forget that either. (BTW he's my lousy congressman until they moved his district)
