The Trump Voter Handbook (Pt 2): That Curious Mr. Cruz
Intellectual Froglegs ^ | 4/18/16 | Intellectual Froglegs

About those ‘party rules’… ‘Rules that can be manipulated by the PARTY BOSSES to cancel a vote after the primary season under way– are not rules —it’s called strategy. And it absolutely IS crooked as hell. On August 25, when Colorado Party Bosses canceled the VOTE…Trump had just emerged as the CLEAR ‘double digit’ Frontrunner. And the candidates were prepping for their 2nd debate… Of course the intent was to block Trump.

Always a pleasure to get notice of a new segment. Clarity with some great visuals.

The real mystery is why Cruz and Cruz supporters can’t understand why Colorado caused them so much damage. You guys have some real blind spots when it comes to politics.

It’s helps if the public doesn’t see how much the public would vote for Trump....
The GOPe didn’t want that to get out...Hence the cancellation....

They are acolytes in a personality cult. There is zero critical thinking amongst the Cruzlims.

Cruz is Artie Ziffle. He loves being elected because it proves he’s smart. Thus, Cruz and Cruzbots are crowing about “winning” their voterless elections because the most important things are, 1) winning, and 2) looking smart.

When Trump says the voterless elections were “stolen,” he’s saying to the voters, “I love you. And you are important to me.”

Guess which message attracts more voters.

Just because you can do a thing does not mean you should do a thing.

Now Ted Cruz can read my rule.

I don’t vote for GOPE whores. His behavior in this primary is indefensible. There ain’t any going back.

Done with him.

Would reading the rules have prevented the voters from being disenfranchised?

It sounds like a bunch of parrots in here. Every day a new memo comes out and the memo of the day is read the rules. The rules were changed in Aug 2015, the rules were subverted, the party played shenanigans with delegate assignment. Its a rigged process. Trump is pulling down the curtains and the men behind the curtains don’t like the exposure. Anyone who has read Alice in Wonderland knows all about the party rules.

FYI - video on the page at 8:30 min mark - says 6 or 8 more months ago I saw a clip....rest in the quote below

From article:

Hayworth asked Tancredo: “You’re saying the party tried to control this thing and silence the [Donald] Trump folks? Would you go that far?”

“Yes, absolutely,” he responded. He cited a video clip he saw as recently as six months ago featuring Colorado Republican Party Chairman Steve House and a delegate who later attended the convention.

“The fact is he told a group of people in Pueblo, Colo., in a meeting — and this is months and months ago, and I’m paraphrasing — ‘We got to do something to stop Trump,” Tancredo told Hayworth.

I’m amazed at the way this thing got legs and just took off. Say what you will about Trump, he’s got his finger on the pulse this cycle.

What is your definition of disenfranchised, and which voters were?

>>>why Colorado caused them so much damage

I think Trump damages the whole party and all his opponents.

That’s his goal I think. Insult and intimidate, anything to win. If you read “Art of the Deal” you know that. Win by intimidation.

WOW...you nailed that.

Cruz really doesn’t think he’s smarter than everyone and he wants us all to know it.

He had to be the most obnoxious guy in school.

>>>Just because you can do a thing does not mean you should do a thing.

Can do a thing in the case of Wyoming would mean winning the votes of those going to their county caucus to vote for their choice of nominee.

Trump didn’t do it; so it’s somebody else’s fault. It’s the rules.

I’m afraid that’s too long a question for so late at night and well laid out in many prior threads.

Short form answer: voters not allowed to vote, primaries restricted to small groups of insiders, delegate selection manipulation by cronyism, improper ballots with Cruz delegates included twice, Trumps missing and a host of other subtle and not so subtle ways of seizing power and denying it to the voters. Have a good night.
