Service was excellent with mannerable, attentive staff. Just the right amount of attention, not intrusive. Meals were served quickly and the food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. This place just can't be faulted. The price was really very reasonable for such a luxury place.

Palm beach, doral, San Lorenzo or whatever course you care to mention don't stand comparison. It's remarkable! We stayed at the Macleod house also. Initimate, excellent service and outstanding food. A real treat but a must.

Cruzers will spread any lie they can since their Lord and Master Ted Cruz shovels all his lies into their heads all the time.
To be honest, I don’t really know much about golf and it didn’t occur to me to check it out. Nice to know it’s a grand course - as, from what I hear, are most Trump courses. I have no doubt, though, that the Scots put up an anti-American fuss when he came in. Of all the socialists I’ve met in my life, the worst have always been Scots. I had a friend named Jane from Edinburgh who was fun to go to the theater with but you could NOT talk to her about politics. She was like a 1930s trade unionist. Brutal!
Tell you what. If you do business in the golf industry over there, you better have your “A” game on. There is a ton of competition.
I have been over there 8 times. Wanted to purchase a pub up by Inverness. I backed out because the thing needed massive renovation and the people and agencies I would have had to go through was unbelievable.
A whole lot of Scotland is owned by the special interests. Like the Mull Of Kintyre, owned by one of the Beatles. The Island of Bute, owned by Jackie Stewart. Etc.
Oh you can build there-if they allow you to. You lease the land and they can tell tou how to build. If there is an old 1700s building on it, you might have to renovate it.
Greatest golf course in the world should have gotten a 7 at least, eh?
