To be honest, I don’t really know much about golf and it didn’t occur to me to check it out. Nice to know it’s a grand course - as, from what I hear, are most Trump courses. I have no doubt, though, that the Scots put up an anti-American fuss when he came in. Of all the socialists I’ve met in my life, the worst have always been Scots. I had a friend named Jane from Edinburgh who was fun to go to the theater with but you could NOT talk to her about politics. She was like a 1930s trade unionist. Brutal!
I love the Scots and actually have a real good friend living over on the Shetland Islands. That said, they’re a hotspot for socialists in the UK. There are probably more socialists in Scotland than anywhere else in that country.
Scots are not anti-American, quite the opposite. And not all Scots are socialist and certainly not zealots about it.
