Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is again warning his party of the dangers of a Donald Trump nomination, saying a three-man race likely paves the way for the New York billionaire to capture the nomination on the first ballot of this summer's GOP convention in Cleveland.
The former Massachusetts governor, in an interview on "The David Gregory Show" podcast says Tuesday's New York primary is an important moment in the primary fight.
"If (Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Ted Cruz) are both going at it aggressively until the very end then I think Trump gets it on the first ballot," Romney said.

I always said both Rubio and Kasich needed to drop out to stop Trump from winning with a mere plurality. As long as we have two other candidates in the race who are actually electable they will split the sane vote.
Who gives a crap? Most successful businessmen are extremely liberal. You say you hate the rich donors. Who the heck do you think they are? Rich liberal businessmen like Trump. Ones who haven’t yet publically “converted” into self-proclaimed conservatives who now claim to hate corrupt donors.

I can guarantee you with the sleazeball team Trump has assembled (Stone, Manafort, Lewandoski, etc.), they will be trying hard to bribe the delegates if the nomination is within striking distance.

How is this any different from Romney who created Romneycare and then upon entering the primary acted like a fierce critic of Obamacare?

Trump was a very typical New York RINO Republican until recently. He wanted socialized health care, assault weapons bans, higher taxes on the rich, legalization for illegals and he loved bashing G.W. Bush while donating to his opponents...and on most of these points he really hasn’t shifted his views much. He just uses more clever, conniving language that makes it very easy for him to flip back to the other side later and claim he never lied.
