Excellent Point
Dixie wuvs the Trump man
We’re just stupid racist hicks finding new love for a brash Yankee
We have old oracle legacy down here foreshadowing Trump
“And lo he shall descend down from the sinful city of Gotham sword in hand and smite our enemies from the land of the moon and drive the food cart invaders back beyond our southern borders and crush the old corrupt order despite wave after wave of opposing armies of gluttony and self import and re establish peace and prosperity in the realm all the time surrounded by a phalanx of beautiful kinswomen “
Thus it was written many seasons past by my ancestors under an old moss laden live oak by the father of waters and hence it shall come to pass.

Actually he was, Alberta is just North Idaho!

After NY, Cruz will be mathematically eliminated. He won’t be able to make a case that voting for him will be good for anyone. Voting for Cruz is a vote for chaos and Hillary.

very well said. I agree completely.

There was a time, not many years ago, when California was one of “The Cradles of Conservatism.” Just where do you think Ronald Reagan came from? We’re where we are today thanks to the “Repubicans” who followed him, culminating in two terms of Arnold the Awful.

I know many people in NJ who are going to vote for Trunp (if they are given the chance). I also think there are many who support Trump, but will not say so, due to their not wanting to be called a racist/misogynist/nazi/idiot. They are people who actually like Trump, and agree with much of what he says. They accept his "vulgarity" and his ego, because they see someone who is willing to say what all the politically correct p*ssies have refused to say for so long, and he at least speaks as if he actually understands this country, and actually cares about this country, and is unapologetic about wanting this country to be the best.
A lot of these people have finally seen that a miserable, corrupt, and self-serving government and media have been lying to them and screwing them for decades, and they've finally had enough. They aren't sure Trump is everything they want him to be, but they're pretty sure he ISN'T another one of the despicable, disingenuous career politicians that have gotten us to this point.
I don't know what to say about the Sanders supporters. It is sad that an avowed socialist could actually get so much support in this country.

The cure to this scripted and orchestrated "rebellion" lies in the ballot box in November. Unfortunately, that will also "cure" the traditional freedoms we take for granted as Comrade Grandma takes over at the White House. Rigged system, my ass! The party rules apply and always have applied to every candidate in caucuses and primaries and conventions. The Donald feels entitled to coronation and can't be bothered to obey or even understand rules.
The #1 problem in our nation is Republican nomination rules????? REALLY????
The delusion is strong in this one!

With the classy campaign that is The Donald’s signature, we MAY get to see how he will do against the Arkansas Medusa. Good luck!

And the conservative, deep south, Bible Belt states went for Trump. Hardly “Lib Turd Butt Hole States”. (Nice try, though.)
To: TontoKowalski; All
Trump rightly viewed that situation as one the American people would turn their noses up at, and he was right. Just goes to show - Cruz may be smarter at lawyerin' up the rules, but Trump is smarter at actually figuring out people.

Actually, California and its GOP were slain by a liberal Republican idiot named Pete Wilson. Ahhhhnold Schwarzenkennedy was only the expectable result of Wilson after some years of Demonrat Grey Davis and now they have Governor Moonbeam back again to finish off what's left with the help of an invincibly Demonrat legislature. Of course, Wilson did his utmost to tickle the ears and satisfy the priorities of the anti-immigration crowd, but was stopped by the courts applying the XIVth Amendment. Thus, Wilson did not get to enforce his anti-immigration policies but alienated just about every one of California's already massive Hispanic minority who had been trending Republican. Nice work, Pete!
Ronald Reagan came from Dixon, Illinois. George Murphy came from New Haven, Connecticut. Ernest Borgnine from Hamden, Connecticut. Jimmy Cagney from Hell's Kitchen in New York City. They and many others did rise to prominence in California which was once the very embodiment of the American Dream. Thank Wilson for its disappearance. Trump is trying to do to America what Wilson did to California.

Quite the opposite. Trump is the only chance we’ve got to have something left to build on. Cruz will ensure Hillary and then it’s game over.
To: HamiltonJay
If you hallucinate that Scott Walker is GOP-E, no further refutation of your post is necessary. "GOP-E" as a term has been degenerated by the Trumpster to mean anyone who does not unquestionably worship The Donald and the water he walked in on.
Between the cowardice and dishonesty of the GOP-E and everything that is The Donald, the GOP is destroyed already. See ya in the gulag!

Wilson was not a good governor, and he’s probably good for a heavy contribution to the demise of the GOP here. But to equate Trump with Wilson is simply nonsense. As for the birthplaces of prominent Caiifornians, most folks here 50 years ago were from somewhere else. On the downside, Babs Boxer came from NYC (Brooklyn) and Nancy Pelosi “immigrated” from Baltimore, MD where her father was one of theiri earlier crooked mayors who ended up in jail for corruption. Unfortunately, both Fineswine and Jerry the Fairy are homegrown. Early on, my wife worked with a woman who was Jerry Brown’s parents next door neighbor. She used to say that both Jerry and his sister Kathleen were “strange children.” Jerry also “washed out” as a Jesuit Priest. He was down at the Villa Montalvo for a time but didn’t like working in the grape vinyards there.
