Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders Revealing Our Elections Rigged: “The Illusions of Choice”…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Sundance

(Nick Bernabe via ANTIMEDIA) Denver, CO — The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, it’s becoming clear the U.S. election — and even more so, the presidential race — is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.

Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.

The Wyoming democratic caucus took place on Saturday, purportedly to allow voters to have their voices heard in the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders lost the Wyoming caucus by winning it with a 12 percent margin.

What if all the voting is done and everybody is mathematically eliminated? Who wins? The person with the most?

How did they all get eliminated at once? You get out after you cannot get the nomination, one by one. Last person standing wins.

Basically, the whole primary process needs to be changed to a fair process that supports the people not the rnc. It sure as heck is designed now to give the illusion that we have a say when we really don’t.

You dont get it.

The GOPe bosses came into Colorado and changed the system from the caucus system (1912 till 1988) and changed to a primary system (1988 till 2004). Then the grass roots found that they were shut out of the party. That is why the grass roots took control of the state party back from the national bosses and returned back to the caucus system (2004 on) Under the current caucus system, the locals are the ones who get elected to the delegate positions. They are elected by their neighbors and not appointed by the party bosses.

As a veteran, I can tell you that many other veterans PREFER the caucus system because we have seen how the binding primary corrupts the state party and we don’t want to have anything to do with that. When the veterans and mom and pop republicans learn about the how and why we got to the current caucus system; when they get the truth instead of the missleading headlines of the main stream media, they quickly see that the current system works better than the primary system.

Could the system be improved possibly. I fail to see how a person not present at the caucus could vote for the delegate as the slate of delegates is not known until the day of the caucus.

Because there are 5 people and they are running neck and neck.

Do you disagree with the idea that the winner should have the support of at least half of the party?

That’s not the situation in todays primary. Kasich should have been asked to leave. Same as the next one that cannot get the desired number of delegates. Of course that would only apply to those where people actually got to vote for candidates in the states. No game playing with delegates.

Do you disagree with the idea that the winner should have the support of at least half of the party?

Shouldn’t the “winner” have the support of 100% of the party?

so people who CAN show up can vote, but those risking their lives cannot show up , therefore cannot vote.

OK and you said everyone could vote, it seems not and you have no problem with it.

Was you ever against the establishment and their corruption or was you always for them? .

Winner has the support as the wishes of the voter has spoken, but that basic concept by the establishment is ignored as primaries where all can vote is not what the establishment wants, nor their talking hacks and trolls.

Bottom line, if the RNC wants to just pick their candidate with no input from the voters, that is fine. But just do that, and quit trying to give the illusion that we are picking the candidate.

If another party wanted to have a real primary to let the people decide on the candidate, I think that party would be very popular.

After all of this, If DT is cheated out of his win, the RNC will go to the dustbin of history.

Why do you need to know this information. They just had a caller on Rush who is an actual delegate from Colorado and he said Trump was non-existent in the state. He said Trump ended up with a slate of alternate delegates about 15. They finished a distant 2nd place in the voting. So Trump did get votes—just not as many as Cruz.

First you’re not the only vet here. Also they were not denied anything. Colorado has been doing this for years...no one said vets are not allowed to participate. So quit making up stuff.

No I’m condemning people who only complain and whine about the system that helps them more than hurts them and still wants to cry about the couple ways it hurts him.

could the system be improved , you had better believe it can, will it, hell no..

Primaries where all can vote , including those aboard and risking their lives right now do not have a say. Disgusting.

Caucuses do not allow everyone and is restricted by basically by the party to keep power for themselves as I was told on here by a cruz voter, it is not the voter who gets to decide it is the party.

Seems giving an illusion and spending million upon millions which could go to vets is all a waste of time.

As I was told on this thread b a certain establishment hack then the party decides not the voter so here is a thought. 17 people running and let the party , you know those establishment elitist types have a vote and we will just not bother voting in the primary, in the caucus or the general and then see them lose their power to the other corrupt party.

Er you speak of vets not being allowed, and I said those serving in war zones are not allowed if they are form CO, that is not a lie.
Those saying all could vote also lied as those working on oil rigs, aboard, on the border were not given an absentee forms as the state doe snot give them out for their so called vote for a delegate .

and for what , a frigging delegate named John Smith who was a plumber for years and now is retired and people have no clue about who this person is?

You are just an agitator on here spouting the same talking points of the establishment and you seem to have a crush on Rush, the same man who said Rubio was a conservative before he dropped out.

I am speaking objectively of what will happen in the next primary, if you make it a rule that a majority is not needed. Then you will have a split along geographic and ideological lines and end up with multiple candidates with 20% constituencies.

The guy who gets the nomination should be the one who can convince a majority (at least) to back him. That’s the way it has always worked. For good reason.

After a nominee is chosen, then, yes, the entire party should support him. That is less likely if your rules are that a nomination can be won with only a plurality of the votes. The guy with 22% support who has “the most” and wins will have a hard time getting support from the other 78%.

The voters do decide. When they can decide.

When they don’t give any candidate a majority, then some other process has to happen.

Show where two parties were authorized by the Constitution to control the election process from bottom to top. The elected members of the two parties constitute a choke point, and wield power over the potential rise of any challenger (3rd Party) to gain standing against the two party hegemony (Old boys club to divvy the spoils).

As apparent when a challenge to threaten both parties is perceived, both parties (sitting president Obama overtly and the RNC covertly) coordinate response and act in harmony against the outsider (Trump). Any challenge from within a party (Chris McDaniel) results in voting reinforcements from the opposite camp supporting the incumbent (Thad Cochran).

Unless you have references from party members in good standing, to join the exclusive club within the party which apportions influential positions, to attain postings with the scope to change party dogma, remains a reformation pipe dream. You only fit their mold if you are a good company man.

You’re the agitator. Send me a link to any published report of someone serving in a combat zone not being allowed to participate.
