EXCLUSIVE Trump Campaign: Cruz Staged Attack In Georgia To Steal Delegates
Not Grassroots Activism The answer is obvious: Mr. Stone should coordinate a reprisal attack on any and all Cruzians that he can find. Make them pay for their candidate's actions.
Mr. Stone is good at this sort of thing.

If this is the way Trump gets screwed out of the nomination, there’s going to be blood in the streets.
As the old saying goes... “those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.”

Honestly, I don't mind this anymore. I think Trump is going to win on the first ballot, and do so easily, which makes all this stuff completely irrelevant.
In fact, I think Trump's surge in the polls lately is due to the narrative his campaign is successfully putting out there, using stories such as this and Colorado to paint Cruz as a thief, someone trying to be selected rather than elected.

“The Donald Trump campaign is accusing the Sen. Ted Cruz campaign of staging a coordinated attack in Georgia that led to pro-Trump delegate candidates being challenged and deposed in every corner of the state”
Jedi mind trick?
If Deceitful Don has a flat tire, causing him to be late for one of his rallies, I suppose Trump’s campaign will announce that it was a Cruz dirty trick.

It’s not just Lyin’ Ted anymore, it’s Delegate Stealing Ted. The perception of dirty tricks, and now backroom double dealing with the establishment at his side, makes Cruz stink really bad.

“...floor motions made targeting our supporters...”
I was not able to attend our County Convention yesterday. It doesn't elect anybody to the State Convention, but it does put together some platform ideas and a chance to meet the local politicians running.
I did talk to a couple earlier today that had attended. It ended at 4 pm yesterday, and right before it ended somebody wanted to bring up a resolution to ban Cruz as he is not eligible. He had not presented earlier as he was supposed to.
He was booed down as soon as the words were out of his mouth. It was too late to do anything anyway. But I'll be waiting for some article about how this person was denied their rights.

.... If what he is doing is illegal then Cruz definitely must go. If he is just playing a better ground game, then Trump has to step up his game and adapt his own strategies to counter the opposition.
.... Heck .... Judging by his business acumen .... I am sure Mr. Trump is good at playing chess ...... so it's time for a few fancy ground game chess moves of his own.

If only Trump was more motivated to get his supporters to the convention to vote for his delegates than he is in whining everytime he’s a loser.

This is why Democracy (by the people) is so important. Democracy by the crony bosses is not Democracy. Just like crony capitalism is really capitalism. All you so-called constitutional conservatives who support Cruz are nothing but a-holes and hypocrites. His poll numbers are melting right now because of his lies and dirty tricks. He can barely beat the old guy from Ohio right now.

Cruz was the most disliked Republican in Washington. He may end up as the most disliked in the nation.

Private backroom nominations committees producing recommended slates, county delegations voting in blocs, floor motions made targeting our supporters,
Yes, we had a recommended slate in the 3rd district. The process took over 3 hours AFTER the credentials committee was done processing the delegates for the convention. There was plenty of spirited discussion from all sides. In addition to the recommended slate two other slates were presented from the floor. No slate was selected until a majority of the convention voted for a slate. The biggest controversy was that the nominating committee was asking who the would-be delegate would support if committed, and whom if not committed. Our district actually had a delegate who REFUSED to vote last time because he intended to vote for Ron Paul, who was not entered due to the Rule 40B. That same fellow is part of district leadership today, and his sister was on the recommended slate, and is well regarded by most.
There were five slates (with lots of overlap) for the national convention. Some counties did vote in blocs, but not all or even most. This actually happened more on the Alternates slate because people were voting as much for their friends to get to go as much as anything else.
It wasn't hard to attend the county convention to be a delegate to the district convention. Fee for the county convention was $20 or some such. Our county convention was composed of about 50 people in a hotel conference room, with a non-voting area open to the general public. Show up at the county convention and if you are early in line, you get to be a district delegate. If too many want to be a delegate you can be an alternate, and might well get in if delegates don't show up. Some counties had only a small fraction of their delegates show up, though most were full. Other delegates will be selected at the state convention in Augusta, and that IS an expense and hassle because Georgia is a big state and the convention is two days long. The folks in Valdosta will have a heck of a drive.
Other than a flier identifying Cruz delegates, there was no arm twisting along those lines that I observed. WIth just shy of 300 delegates in front of the ropes, it was easy to keep an eye on the action, as I was in the back row.
The only rule change that was made was to go by slate, rather than individual. I voted against that. Most who voted for it were doing so in the interest of saving time.
