When Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump, the wheels started to come off her right-wing empire and allies blame the trouble on Ted Cruz. One of the right-wings most prominent empires is reeling and its president says its Ted Cruzs fault.
Eagle Forum, a conglomerate of conservative groups which anti-feminist icon Phyllis Schlafly started in 1972, has been rocked by inner turmoil over the last week that has pit family members against each other. And the groups head, Ed Martin, says Cruzs campaign is using its much-discussed dirty tricks to sow conflict in the organization as revenge for Schlaflys endorsement of Donald Trump.

People who say they love Ted because he's a "Principled Conservative" don't care about his lies or they'd have dropped him like a rock when he announced his run for President in spite of his not being a Natural Born Citizen.
Their tune will change when a Saudi Prince with just as much claim to being NBC announces his run. Then it'll be, "OMG, doesn't anyone read the Constitution ?"
People backing Ted don't care about his lies, period. Any argument they make to the contrary is just more proof that what they really care about is getting their own Bill and Hill toofur in office so the Globalist Cheap Labor Express keeps on rolling.
>Imagine the kind of revenge Cruz could mete out with the power of the presidency behind him. Hed make Obama and Clinton look like pikers.
Unfortunately I think a lot of Cruz supporters would look forward to punishing the people who didn’t support Cruz. It’s become quite cult like with Cruz. I’m growing very concerned about it.
It’s not true. What you perpetuate from here forward speaks to your character. Jeff Roe did not purchase the rights to Melania’s “naked GQ photos.”
People who are scared that Trump will destroy conservatism are focusing on the wrong target. The cult like win at any cost movement Cruz is running will destroy conservatism and surly as it destroyed the Eagle Forum. Cults always self destruct and Cruz will take the entire movement with it.
I’m not trying to insult Cruz supports, I’m trying to warn you. Please take a step back and consider if this type action happens through out the entire conservative movement.
BTW, I remember I first read it on FR!
This from Google...
"The Washington Times Mar 25, 2016 - Only a lib could think it isn't sleazy to parade pictures of a mans ... Now that the GQ Sales Department has confirmed that Jeff Roe - a Cruz ..."
Speaking of character...
Someone perpetuating Ted's lie denying any connection to his own campaigns sleazy tactics makes those who do so accessories after the fact which is using a bullhorn to tell others how flawed and corrupted their own character is.
The facts are out there, reported by multiple sources not just repetitions from one source, so how is participating in the cover-up the moral high ground you pretend to speak from?
GQ did not confirm that Jeff Roe purchased the rights to those pictures. The original photographer still owns them. Stop perpetuating a demonstrably false rumor.
I didn’t participate in any cover-up, genius. I didn’t say jack squat about the Cruz campaign or the Super PAC.
Jeff Roe did not purchase the rights to the photographs of Melania. The original photographer still owns the rights. Any assertion to the contrary is a lie.
What you found on Google and The Washington Times is a random comment not a quotation from an article. Stop perpetuating a lie. Jeff Roe did not purchase the rights to photographs of Melania Trump.
Prove it!
Ahhh, rights vs. rights. The right to reprint for and use in their advertising vs the ownership rights.
IOW, depends on what "is", "is", per the same lawyer speak, Clinton game Ted plays all the time.
So you're saying Ted's pals reprinted the picture, spread it far and wide, and did so without paying the owner? Why aren't you yelling for Ted to reject help from such a dishonest bunch of thieves ?
Yer strawman ain't working Bub, the campaign paid for rights to reprint and use. Ownership isn't the question and has never been except for the spin doctors.
It is illegal for the Cruz campaign to coordinate with the super PAC. So what Trump is suggesting would violate federal regulations.
And theres no evidence that the Trump campaign has provided to back up the accusation. (We contacted the campaign and havent received a response.) We also contacted Condé Nast Britain, which publishes British GQ, and a spokesman told us that the magazine no longer owns the rights to the photos of Melania Trump. To confirm, British GQ has no rights any longer in relation to these photographs, Richard Pickard, acting publicity manager for Condé Nast Britain, told us in an email.
We then contacted the photographer, New York-based Antoine Verglas, who confirmed in an email that he was the only one who had the rights to the photo now. We asked if anyone had contacted him about buying the rights to the photo. Verglas responded: No not anyone.
He told us he hadnt given permission to have the photo used by the super PAC and had not been in touch with the super PAC about it. It basically constitutes a violation of my intellectual property, Verglas told us. This shooting was only supposed to appear in gq UK magazine and its website. I am looking with my attorney at different options.
Wrong. See post 93.
Jeff Roe has a history for playing "dirty" and doing this type of thing. He was the mastermind of sending out the Ben Carson is leaving the race, vote for Ted email. That he would get the photos and pass along to the PAC is typical of Jeff Roe.
And Ted Cruz would condone it.
Ted Cruz couldn't wait to run for POTUS because he is a power=hungry arrogant individual. He is the product of a dysfunctional family...and it shows!

So much for your "facts."
Hot air? Yes!
Facts? Dpn't exist!
Why do you keep talking about ted Cruz? You seem to think I am a Cruz supporter.
Attack Jeff Roe to your heart’s content. I care not. Just stop perpetuating the lie that he purchased the rights to those pics. He didn’t.
As for where the Super PAC got the pics, I would imagine they got them from the GQ article that was republished on March 4, 2016, which was approximately two weeks before the Super PAC’s ad.

How about attacking GQ for using the word “erection” in that URL? That’s pretty disgusting and low class.
Have you read the headline? It doesn't start with "John Kasich...".
I think Ted Cruz's campaign is full of people who thrive on playing dirty politics.
I think you have exhibited a tad of false pride and arrogance. You have opined but proved nothing!
I proved that Jeff Roe didn’t purchase the rights to those pics, which was the point. You just don’t want to accept it.
