Democratic strategist Harlan Hill told Neil Cavuto today that up to 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters will cross over to Donald Trump if Bernie is eliminated.
Harlan Hill: Almost 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters say they will not support Hillary Clinton in the general election. And I expect that number to grow.
Neil Cavuto: Alright, will where will they go?
Harlan Hill: Well, I think they will either stay home or they will cross over.
Neil Cavuto: Who will they cross over to?
Harlan Hill: Donald Trump. Thats it. Theyre not going to vote for Ted Cruz
I think that there is common ground that if Donald Trump plays his cards right he could appeal to a lot of Democrats.

I am supposed to know what Sanders supporters think? Get real.
Btw, since some in the corrupt GOP elite have publicly implied and suggested on several occasions they’d cross over to vote for Hillary when Cruz gets KO’d by Trump, why are they supporting Cruz?
Try to keep up.
Well, should Cruz get the nomination, I hope 20% of the Trump supporters don't stay at home or vote for one of the Marxists.
And for that reason alone, I don't believe this article.
Believe it.
Btw, Cruz won’t be getting the nomination. Bet the rent.
Bernie is the anti establishment candidate on the left. He has run his campaign as an outsider. Trump is anti establishment who is self funding his campaign. Both are not beholden to thier parties or special interests.
Trump recently began mentioning that he and Sanders are the only two outsider candidates. Both are painting an image of being screwed over by thier respective parties.
Trump is trying to pick up as many disenfranchised voters on the left as he can in the general election. It appears it’s working.
The GOPe hates the fact that Trump is the front runner. The can’t control him. They also hate Cruz, however they can use Cruz to bring Trump to heal. They also hate the conservative wing of the party. By sending Cruz out to “steal” delegates puts pressure on Trump. They want to control him. They also want to marginalize the conservative wing of the party.
If Trump can prove he can win without the right wing of the party then Cruz will be tossed overboard.
He is offering freedom from the current corrupt government. Much more than that of course, but that is the beginning.
Get it?
Cruz is running out of Bush’s money and tanking.

Tavern sign: “OUR BEER IS AS COLD AS YOUR EX-WIFE’S HEART”
Ever heard of the ‘Reagan Democrats’?
Revolutionary leaders have an ability to attract support from all demographics, and across ideological lines.
Trump is the only Republican running, who can do that.
Gezz, you asked once what the meaning of vengeance was, and you were told. What don’t you get about that?
At this point, I could care less who gets the GOP nod, as long as it is one of the two front runners. Should the GOP pull a stunt to deny both, well, that is for another time...
But I find it hilarious that Cruz lives rent-free in the heads of Trump supporters, and that Trump lives rent-free in the heads of Cruz supporters. Both sides are suffering massive Derangement Syndromes.
And both sides push the same crap all over this site, posting from impeachable sources, and claim the most ridiculous, over-the-top accusations on the flimsiest thread of credulity.
And the hostility, sheesh. You all need to chill, because none of your rhetoric is changing anyone’s minds.
JMO. Peace.
See post 92.
“Btw, since some in the corrupt GOP elite have publicly implied and suggested on several occasions theyd cross over to vote for Hillary when Cruz gets KOd by Trump, why are they supporting Cruz?”
I haven’t seen those posts, but I don’t see how anyone who supports a conservative, if their conservative candidate doesn’t prevail, would—out of spite—vote for a hardcore leftist like Shillary, or a self-proclaimed socialist like Sanders.
But, based on some postings that have been made on FR, apparently some of the “non-corrupt, non-GOP elite” Trump supporters have suggested on several occasions they would not support the eventual Republican nominee. Surely they would not support Shillary or Sanders out of spite. Therefore, I suppose they must be considering either sitting out the general election or voting for the constitutional party or libertarian party candidate.
Oh, and to return the gratuitous cordiality: try to keep up.
I agree with your post 85.
“He is offering freedom from the current corrupt government.”
I am in agreement with Trump on that.
“Much more than that of course, but that is the beginning.”
That is the part that bothers me about Trump. We’ve had too many unpleasant surprises in the past.
Most of the Bern supporters I know still think Trump is a Nazi.
I suppose its possible but I think unlikely.
“Reports of another Cruz mistress are being rumored. Get it?”
Got any updates, dragnet2, on Trump’s extramarital exploits, including publicly bragging about it, or his trip(s?) to the Playboy mansion?
I heard on TV that TRUMP could get 40% of Bernie supporters, once Hillary runs Bernie out of the race.
“Thats probably the most damning statement one could make about Trump and his policies, that they would attract the same demographic that is attracted to socialism.”
But it would be fine for those same folks to “cross over” and vote for Lyin’ Ted now wouldn’t it! Because As Cruze says: “If i can find a way to cheat I’ll win, In Jesus name, Amen!”
