Perhaps you should carefully review how the Colorado Republicans have set up the delegate process.

Did you know that ANY registered Republican can submit their name to their precinct to be voted as either the primary or alternate delegate to the state convention?

Did you know that the precinct delegate is voted on by their neighbors in their precinct and that the majority of the precinct approves the delegate and alternative?

Did you know that at the state convention, any delegate to the state convention can run for one of the delegate positions?

You will not find a more grass roots based GOP state party. It is run from the grass roots.

When the GOP leadership issues a Resolution to deny Trump a win, then brags they did it right after while claiming its a legit system is insulting people’s intelligence. It was not coincidence that most of the Delegates were State party officials...

But hey, Keep selling the party line, its tanking Cruz where people are still permitted to vote.

No, I didn’t know all that. Did any of the “grassroots” know that. Did the party make any effort to educate the “grassroots”.

I’m praying that Trump wins so I can go back to my life without having to devote 24/7 to watching the thieving crooks in our government.

It’s rigged! Rigged, I tell you! The private citizens running as GOP delegates are actually secret GOPe agents raised from birth for this very moment!! All of their lives they’ve been taught that Cruz is the Messiah and Trump is the Antichrist.

;p

Did you know they only vote for fellow travelers? They had 10 seconds to persuade a vote for themselves which was never going to happen. Only those preselected had a chance period. Fake voter choice where none existed.

What a bunch of crap.

I have a great idea. Why not let the GOP voters of Colorado vote in a Presidential primary to express their preference, and then, after that, count the votes and allocate delegates between the candidates according to some reasonable, agreed upon rules?

I can't believe that Cruzbots are acting as apologists for the disenfranchisement of every Colorado GOP member in the state who doesn't happen to prefer Ted Cruz.

If they wanted to make it winner take all or something like that, then fine. It looks to me as if the GOP voters in Colorado have been shortchanged.

Don't pretend for even a moment that the process in Colorado is anything other than party insiders engineering a slate of delegates for a specific candidate, in direct disregard for the popular will of GOP voters in the state.

I'm absolutely sure the GOP voters in Colorado would much rather express their Presidential preference in a primary and have the delegates allocated fairly, instead of the obvious inside job that occurred.

Cruzbots can bleat about "they played by the rules" all they want, but they can also bear the brunt of the perception which that generates, and, I can tell you, the optics are not good for the Ted Cruz campaign.

This is nothing short of a full embrace of the GOPe and their "#NeverTrump" strategy, which was exhibited via a tweet from the party-affiliated account right after the thievery was accomplished.

So it was procedural, legalized thievery which occurred, using the "rules" which the GOP(e) leadership put in place. Great!

Cruzbots can embrace those optics if they like, and they can also embrace the ultimate defeat that it will bring to the Cruz campaign.

Ted Cruz is falling in the polls, both nationally and state-by-state.

At one point, Ted Cruz could have preserved his anti-Establishment credentials and had a legitimate chance to be VP, and then take over from Trump in a term or two. He has now burned that bridge.

So I guess it's going to be scorched earth by the GOPe: an all-out effort, full of slanted propaganda and questionable delegate allocation tactics. None of it will avail to derail a front-runner who is being actively sabotaged by a corrupt party elite that is terrified of losing their spot at the feeding trough. I have news for them: they've already lost. It just hasn't sunk in yet.

And Ted Cruz has cast his lot with the scummy, corrupt Establishment, because he hasn't been able to win over anti-GOPe voters fair and square. Ted Cruz has shown his true colors, and so have his supporters. Morality and fairness don't matter. So be it.

You Cruz-Tories enjoy your petty fun while it lasts. You've helped awaken a sleeping giant, and by joining with the GOPe in the demonization of a perfectly decent, red-blooded American, you've betrayed a reform-minded movement who initially wanted Ted Cruz to be part of a constructive, Revolutionary wave.

Once Donald Trump WINS the GOPe nomination, we'll see just exactly how deep your irrational hatred runs...

Oh, that’s rich.

A nominee gets to the Colorado state convention, where they get 10 SECONDS (after multiple rounds of increasingly difficult hurdles in prior stages) to make their case why they should be a delegate.

Tell me you seriously do not believe that this process is designed to select the “grassroots” delegates.

It’s OBVIOUSLY designed to select those with political connections in the good ole’ boys club. (Yep, I see Bob is running..he’s my choice. He’s in the club).

Are you SERIOUSLY not getting this?
