Ohio State Vice President Jay Kasey paid the protesters a visit shortly after the occupation began, with a message from the president.
"Dr. Drake will never receive a list of demands and he will not negotiate with you," Kasey calmly informed the group before moving on to the next part of his conversation, which included the university's own list of demands.
"If you refuse to leave, then you will be charged with a student code of conduct violation," Kasey said. "If you are here at 5:00 a.m. we will clear the building and you will be arrested." He added, "We will give you the opportunity to go to jail for your beliefs."
"What do you mean by 'clear the building?'" one of the stunned students asked.
Kasey didn't mince words: "Our police officers will physically pick you up and take you to a paddy wagon," he answered. "The people who work in this building should be protected also."

If I had been in the student group, I would have gotten four or five guys to go with me and would have jumped the administrator and kicked the living hell out of him. If you believe in something, fight for it. THEN, they could take me to jail. I sincerely hope that was sarcasm.

He used the term "paddy wagon", and as an American of the Irish.. minority group I am offended by that racial slur. I am going to find a safe space free of such triggering phrases.Great minds think alike.

If their majors were disclosed, I seriously doubt we would see many Engineering students there.Lots of "(Grievance) Studies", "Deconstructing (Virtues)" and "Critical Theory of (Western Civ)" majors, no doubt.

Sex is over when the man says so. Otherwise, the woman can hit the road, with what she brought.

I love that idea but my wife views intimacy as her power base so she won’t play along like that
But I like the idea

And now Mizzou is looking at a $32mil budget shortfall and staff layoffs.
If you think it’s a fubar situation you should see if from where I’m sitting. I’ve got friends who work on campus and they are all scared sh*tless for their jobs.
All because a handful of pussy administrators didn’t have the balls to stand up to a few spoiled brat colored punks.
You seem to be happy about it, but I can tell you that there’s really nothing to celebrate in what’s happened here.

I saw two carloads of state police headed for the demonstrators. Not long afterwards, I heard yelling as the officers tear gassed the students. ... For some reason there were no more demonstrations after that,Without a doubt! The wussies in this article were too lazy to backpack something to eat during their "protest", and were whining that security was not letting pizza deliveries in during the hours when the building is normally closed to be cleaned. No wonder the cleaning crew wanted them "out."

The general idea of advanced education is that students go to college to learn and to grow into adults. But these whining snot bags already know it all. So they decided to attend so they can do the instructing.Well said!

Happy is not the word, but it is good to see a salient point proved in such a dramatic way. The point being when basic order and discipline of the school breaks down, the school suffers, and ire should be directed at the higher echelon of the university, who are now proven cowards.
