I suggested exactly the opposite, responding to a poster's assertion that Cruz has violated 40% of the Ten Commandments. All of us has violated every one of them, and every candidate would be in big trouble if purity was a requirement. And for the record, the GOP nominee (whether Trump or Cruz) will be "my guy" against Hillary.

I agree completely with your voting plans. Holding one’s nose is often necessary, and I’m prepared to do it in November.
As an aside, this is a very encouraging thread. So much scripture knowledge displayed here, a genuine and interesting discussion. FR has been so toxic and nasty lately that I feared all the nice folks had left.
