This is Different! (Cruz Campaign Announces It Is Short On Funding!)
PAID FOR BY CRUZ FOR PRESIDENT ^ | 13 Apr 16 | PAID FOR BY CRUZ FOR PRESIDENT

Posted on 04/13/2016 11:54:46 AM PDT by xzins

____

This morning I woke up to an email from my campaign finance director. The email wasn't good news.

I've gotten emails like this before, but let me tell you: this time is different. Our mid-month fundraising report is due in just two days, and we're more than $300,000 short of funding our campaign.

As you know, having the resources necessary to compete is a big factor in running a campaign for president. We've already seen so many candidates who fell short leave this race.

Our campaign is literally running out of money, and to keep campaigning -- taking on Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and the Washington Cartel -- I need your help.

....Snip....

For liberty,

Ted Cruz

Cruz has sold his soul. His fanatical supporters have sold their souls. What’s left to sell?

McCain does the same thing. Any good politician acts like the winner, but runs like the underdog.

Cruz will be about 500 delegates short when the voting is over. That’s assuming he wins IN which is a three way tossup, and does well in CA. He could have a lot fewer.

“New York is Trump 59, Cruz 21, Kasich 15.”

I said in the 9 liberal ones Trump will get 18, Cruz 4, Kasich 5. In the 9 moderate, Trump 15 Cruz 4 Kasich 8. In the most conservative Trump 12, Cruz 13, Kasich 2. Your logic is actually backwards; Trump is killing it in across all districts, but if Cruz were to pick off a few, it would be in the more liberal districts. You’re trying to apply a southern state logic to NY state.

If a candidate gets 50% he gets all 3 delegates and a candidate must get 20% to get any. None of your figures are backed up by facts or the most recent polls. I guess I’m not adding in Cruz’s “magical delegate sauce”.

Ted is self funding his campaign.

Cruz even paid for his new hairstyle by himself.

Not to be outdone by Cruz, Hillary too has a new makeover.

“If a candidate receives more than 50% or only 1 candidate receives 20% or more of the vote, that candidate receives all 3 delegates.”

“If a candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, that candidate receives all 14 delegates.”

For Cruz to get 21 delegates, that would mean Trump doesn’t get 50% statewide and doesn’t get 50% in 21 out of 27 districts. The polls do not show this scenario. I don’t see how you make the leap to 21 delegates.

Can see it on here with all the people switching from Cruz to Trump after learning more about Cruz.

***

And the vast majority of Cruz people aren’t even for Cruz any more as far as I can tell; they just loathe Trump.

That’s what we have been saying about Cruz’s delegates, they are not for Cruz they are against Trump. Hes not getting in on the 2nd if such occurs.

There are 27 districts. You don’t think that any of them could end up Kasich 10, Trump 40, Cruz 50 ? Because that would be 0 - 1 - 2. I am not saying there will be a lot like that but in upstate there will be a few. There will also be many that are split 1 - 1 - 1 and several where Trump gets over 50%. I don’t think 59 - 21- 15 is off base. I guess we will see.

That’s according to a Bloomberg analysis, which found Trump has enjoyed the equivalent of as much as $23.4 million in free media this year from ABC, NBC and CBS alone. [as of late DEC 2015]

And not paying bills with his own money? Be sure to donate!

He’s $24 million in the negative as of Feb. That’s frugal.

“Kasich 10, Trump 40, Cruz 50 “?

I know polls can be wrong, but the 4 most recent have Trump constantly over 50 and growing; and the surrounding state polls validate that. I come from MA and his 49% win there came early on in the season and to me shows he has grown his support in the NorthEast. So no, personally, I don’t think Ted can break through in New York.

Most of it is not his fault; his message doesn’t fit the electorate in NY. But the NY Values dig will hurt him in NY and NJ and if he ever does become the nominee, in Florida. I’m surprised he doubled down on it. He is driving away voters he would need in FL.

Like you said, I guess we will see. :)
