Ratcheting up the rhetoric another notch ahead of Thursday's debate and next week's New York primary, Bernie Sanders’ campaign on Tuesday turned its focus back to Hillary Clinton’s past opposition to driver's licenses for undocumented immigrants.
During a conference call organized by the Sanders team, an array of activists, public officials and an undocumented farm worker supporting the Vermont senator laid into Clinton’s record on immigration writ large.
In particular, the call’s stated purpose was to center on Clinton’s 2007 stated opposition to then-New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s proposal to allow undocumented immigrants to get driver’s licenses.

It is disturbing, but I think many FReepers have no idea how grim the outlook is for young people today (especially whites, who are constantly portrayed as entitled devils by the growing non-white population). While people across the spectrum are suffering, they see many older people in jobs from the “before-times” offering pay and benefits (which aren’t so great, and are constantly being cut) that will never be available to them. I’ve seen a couple of young people in my area working multiple part-time jobs because FT isn’t offered, and I know young people that can’t get offers because the unskilled work they allegedly disdain has been set aside exclusively for braceros - Americans need not apply.
It is easy for us to (rightly) say socialism doesn’t work, but nothing else is working for young people so they’ll try anything new.
Well, there’s 50/50 chance we might find out how good/bad it is in 9 months.
The gambit is this: Motor Voter programs in some states automatically register you to vote at the DMV when you get your license. Guess who the next big new voting bloc would be?
She's in it for the money and celebrity, which is why nothing else matters and she shifts with the wind.
Sanders is a true believer, and motivated by his principles, as twisted as we see them. He will stick to those.
