Paul Manafort: The whole premise of the Cruz campaign, the second ballot. Theres not going to be a second ballot Were out of Cruz land. Cruz is not even going to be finishing second for the next couple of weeks. Hes going to be a distant third in a lot of places.
Sean Hannity: So, in other words, you think Trump wins New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland?
Manafort: I think were doing very well in all those places. All the polls show us leading and were just starting to put our campaigns together there
June 7th is going to put us over but were not going to have to win overwhelmingly on June 7th
April is going to be a very bad month for Ted Cruz. Hell probably finish third in delegates in April.

Cruz is likely to win all of these states convincingly, with the exception of WV — where Trump will lead.
I suspect that greasy little Manafort is going to go over really well in the western states.
Mitch Daniels is a non starter. He can barely hang onto his wife. He makes Mitt Walker seem flamboyant.
Manafort greasy? I think Cruz has the market cornered on greasy.
Did someone turn on the light cuz suddenly all the Cruzbots have disappeared.
OMG.
Make that go away.
/furiously clawing out my mind’s eye
+1 for a reference to Zu Zu Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life :) Watch it every Xmas with my family since I was a kid.
The use of “Cruzlims” attempts to tie Cruz supporters to a religion of beheadings, crucifixions and various other ways to murder our fellow Christians and anyone else that doesn’t believe as jihadists do, and you can’t figure out why people are offended? For the record, all of this name-calling and insulting word-play is childish on both sides, and anyone using Trumplims would be equally worth an abuse button reaction.
It’s just too disgusting when Muslim jihadists are murdering innocent people around the world.
I remember it very well. Ford rad against Regan in 1976 and it went to a brokered convention. Reagan then ran in 1980 and won. I don’t have to rethink anything - I remember it very well. You are off base with your comments thinking I don’t know what I’m talking about - when I very well know what I’m talking about.
I suggest we start a GOXANAXME.COM FUND for 2DV and steelfish and Durbin and seekandfind
It’s not as holy as Cruz would do but it’s the right thing
I remember well the attack on Reagan by the GOPe. And the polls showed him 11 to 15 points behind Carter the day before the election.
That explains why Cruz seemed so unhinged in an interview I heard by him. He had a I dont give a damn under tone.
We'll have to see what the Colorado effect has on those states. Americans are very PO'ed about what happened in Colorado and rightfully so.
I know many of you Cruz supporters have nuanced it to death what happened in Colorado, to make it acceptable to yourselves, but many Americans did not approve.

Yes, agree. After all, Trump told us less than a year ago how to handle murdering jihadis: Refrain from insulting Mohammed and don’t incite them.
You can look it up.
I was also fooled by headline...it only pertains to getting fewer delegates in April.
Manafort was on the wrong side of the Ford/Reagan contest in 1976 in the fight for delegates in that convention when people like Mark Levin were on the right side. Levin has been traduced as have so many conservatives been libeled in this forum in order to make Donald Trump right. Subsequently, Manafort hired his gun out to the Reagan campaign. Shortly after Reagan took office, Manafort was rewarded with a job as director of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, where according to an editor of Wikipedia:
the entire purpose of OPIC is to encourage U.S. companies to invest overseas and create jobs overseas, including moving overseas production work which had previously been done in the U.S.
Below please find a portion of a biographical sketch that appears in Wikipedia and a Wikipedia presentation on OPIC. Please note that Manafort has been closely aligned with every Rino candidate since Ronald Reagan, candidates about whom Trump supporters regularly fulminate:
In 1976, Manafort was the delegate-hunt coordinator for eight states for the President Ford Committee. Between 1978 and 1980, he was the southern coordinator for Ronald Reagan's presidential campaign, and the deputy political director at the Republican National Committee. After Reagan's election in November 1980, he was appointed Associate Director of the Presidential Personnel Office at the White House. In 1981 he was nominated to the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Manafort was an adviser to the presidential campaigns of George H.W. Bush in 1988,[2] Robert Dole in 1996,[3] George W. Bush, and John McCain. In March 2016 he joined the presidential campaign of Donald Trump to lead Trump's "delegate-corralling" efforts.[4]
The hypocrisy is clear when one considers the reaction of Trump supporters to Bush operatives supporting the Cruz campaign. We will hear no similar cries about Manafort who has supported Dole and McCain.
To date, OPIC has supported more than $200 billion of investment in more than 4,000 projects, which have generated an estimated $76 billion in U.S. exports and supported more than 278,000 American jobs.[This claim truly needs attribution, particularly since the entire purpose of OPIC is to encourage U.S. companies to invest overseas and create jobs overseas, including moving overseas production work which had previously been done in the U.S.]
If you are Trump supporter you can stand all of your past rants on their head and believe The Overseas Private Investment Corporation when it denies that it exports jobs: "OPIC does not support projects that negatively affect the U.S economy."
Obviously Manafort has not been hired because he is a staunch conservative or because he subscribes to Trump's trade policy. He was hired as a thug, a hired gun, to lie, to slander Cruz and his supporters as "Gestapo."
Just as it has been necessary to tear down and destroy the reputation of every decent conservative in order to make Donald Trump right, it will now inevitably become necessary to create a false image, to make Manafort a hero, in order to make Donald Trump right.
You know it is going to happen, stop being in denial.
Very risky business making political predictions, especially when it involves Donald Trump.
He exudes danger. I like that.
Ya think?
Did I mention that Montfort has been a lobbyist for years?
