That’s fast enough. Dads big Plymouth might have gone faster, but the speedo pegged at 140. It hit dips in the road pretty hard at that speed. I was 19 or so and didn’t know enough to be scared. I think dad might have been showing off a little.

The BMW had an active suspension, and a big enough wheelbase that it ate the dips up. No road noise, no loose parts, no shake or shimmy. It was solid as a brick.

But for that money, it had better be. It was made to run balls to the wall on the Autobahn.
