My days of muscle cars are long over.

It's interesting after spending years in CA over the years, with CA being the place of world class high end cars/hot rods. Where years ago it was the teens and young adults who were behind the wheel and at the forefront of the fast car hot rod scene.

Not so much nowadays...lol

Nowadays with high price of buying and or building high end cars/hot rods, it's now the norm to see senior citizens in them instead. Most of the younger folks are no where to be seen. They were simply priced out of that world.

You forget the yearly (or bi-yearly? (still?)) smog checks and the nightmare of getting go fast parts and mods past the inspectors. Takes all the enjoyment out of kids modifying cars. Planned that way no doubt, same thing the liberals are trying to do with firearms, make buying and owning one so onerous they hop we will give it up.

I was so lucky a buddy from Oregon wanted to buy my supercharged Mustang, it was becoming impossible to put it close enough to stock each inspection to get it to pass. Bastards, could blown as clean as if it were not running, but have non approved parts..........
