That’s a good point. Otoh, endlessly repeating lies is classic trollish behavior. I saw it with Obama’s sycophants. They’d post a lie, be corrected, and then post the same lie the next day (or sometimes just a few hours later).

The goal is to wear people out, burn up/waste their time, and ultimately dishearten them.

Not sure of the best approach. As you said, you don’t want lies/smears to just sit there unchallenged. Otoh, you don’t want to play their game. Maybe something short and sweet, such as, ‘this misstatement of the facts has been corrected a hundred times,’?
