The Republican party said this tweet saying the account was hacked.
But that is a lie.
The party deleted the tweet only three minutes after it was posted meaning they still had control of the account. It was not hacked it was a Republican party insider.
Thank you very much. I loved it very much. However, there is a difference.
The Florida GOP did not act as an extension of the Trump campaign, actively working to manipulate the outcome in his favor.
The Colorado GOP tweet is evidence that wasn't the case here.
Wow. Read the posts on this thread. Look at the big picture.
Cruz is killing himself.
Bar Colorado’s delegates from the convention!
“The Republican party said this tweet saying the account was hacked.”
That’s not true. That is an outright lie. They never said they were “hacked.”
Read it yourself:

Dyno — this article is a lie. And you say that Cruz is a liar? Nowhere in the tweet — https://twitter.com/cologop/status/718985521523871745 — did the Colorado GOP say their Twitter account was hacked.
And you are promoting this lie. Pathetic.
Shocked, I tell you. Shocked.
Not.
We knew they were taking a cue from Lyin Ted, on this.
It’s Trump’s fault!!!
Ted Cruz, the newest darling of the GOPe.
If Cruz somehow got the nomination, the Democrats would roast him slowly over an open flame all the way to his humiliating curbstomping in November.
Ahh, so when a majority of the delegates representing a majority of the voters didn’t go for Trump, they were forced to anyway. I know, you love the process when it favors your guy.
Deflection? I said it should have stayed up. Promote #NeverTrump proudly. I do. there’s no hiding.
Go forth my son, and sin no more!
Of course it’s a lie. I pointed directly to the tweet from the Colorado GOP:

They do not claim they were “hacked.”
Go to the original source, dynoman, not to all the spin you’ve found through Google.
I have no doubt he'll be turning lemons into lemonade.

The party deleted the tweet only three minutes after it was posted meaning they still had control of the account. It was not hacked it was a Republican party insider.”
So your grossly mistaken premise is that once a site, twitter account etc is hacked , you permanently lose control of that site?
I’ve seen that so-called comparison, but it seems to me like comparing apples and pineapples.
The GOP, responsible for a fair selection of delegates, colluded with one of the campaigns to screw another one.
That's a big deal.
Dear libbylu,
It looks like you took your valium today.
That is welcome news to all of us FR’s that you
said should go to hell!
I’ve been in the computer field for 25 years. I know my terms.
“Hacked” implies that someone has cracked into your account.
What the Colorado GOP tweet said is that someone simply accessed it without being authorized to do so:
https://twitter.com/cologop/status/718985521523871745
Significant difference. Maybe the GOP chairman’s 14 year old kid typed the Tweet on his dad’s computer when his dad went to the restroom. Or maybe an overeager intern or some newby on their PR team sent it. That could be “unauthorized access,” but not a “hack.”
Regardless, the Colorado GOP ****NEVER**** used the term “hacked” to characterize that stupid tweet.
