Why do you keep blaming Martin, when Phyllis Schlafley herself endorsed Donald Trump?

The Eagle Forum wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Phyllis Schlafley. The idea Martin was some loose cannon and needed to go, flies in the face that he was in full agreement with the Founder of the Eagle Forum.

Schlafley’s daughter and others mutinied and took over. It’s that simple. They wanted to back Ted Cruz, so now the board has been taken over by the Ted Cruz faction, and is now for all intents and purposes Ted Cruz’ operation.

Phylllis Schlafley’s daughter made this an issue, and you damn well know it.

Slyfox's point of view, which aligns with the board of Eagle Forum, is that support for Trump is a problem.

The board will of course say that the mutineer was Ed Martin, and since he is gone, and they "won the war," they get to write the history.

Looks like he did make some waves with chapters...

QUOTE:You may have received an email from Ed Martin, who has been employed for approximately 16 months by the National Eagle Forum board on which I serve. He made statements against me personally as well as Eagle Forum of Alabama. These statements from Mr. Martin are slanderous, libelous and without merit...... If Mr. Martin does not stop making these false statements, we will be forced to take further action on behalf of Eagle Forum of Alabama. /END QUOTE
