While the tactics of chief Donald Trump rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% to win delegates without voters come under intense scrutiny, a quiet, thus-far-little-focused-on development has occurred that could provide a ray of hope for the Trump team fighting political insiders on their home turf. Paul Manafort, Trumps new Republican National Convention manager, just delivered not only a big win in Michigans delegate game: He undercut Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) by throwing a separate victory to Ohio Gov. John Kasich. CNN reported on Saturday evening: Ted Cruz suffered a rare convention loss Saturday after delegates backing John Kasich and Donald Trump boxed him out of key positions in the Michigan delegation. The Texas senators campaign ran eight delegates for eight committee spots and lost every one, alleging it was double-crossed by Kasich supporters. The Michigan delegation picked one Trump supporter, Matt Hall, and one Kasich supporter, Judi Schwalbach, for the two seats on the powerful rules committee. The Cruz campaign lost votes for both seats. CNNs Tom LoBianco added in his report that this loss is a major defeat for Cruzand win for Trumpbecause seats on the conventions rules committed are highly coveted prizes for their role in shaping a contested convention in Cleveland.

My Dad surely would have loaned me a Million had I taken his advice and did my VietHo service in a Military Academy, but being proud and now poor, I joined the service.
EdwardsJones stole his money, I still have mine.
No Deferments and still managed to escape from most hos and stds.
“So now that Trump has brought in an DC insider into his inner circle,...”

Though I did have a cave troll a while back. I loved that big fella. Had to send him to a preserve. Ate the neighbors.
Has a guy he hasn't eaten yet send an update from time to time. He's doing swell. T’was a sad day indeed, that day I had to say goodbye to my cave troll.
Got new neighbors now.
Boy do I miss that cave troll.

So under your threshold only Vietnam veterans can be president? Join the Uni Party they will say yes to that!
;-)
Sounds like you’re ahead of the game.
And....thank you for your service.
Join the Uni Party they will say yes to that!
As I have said before...
The value of this election cycle, perhaps above all others, is that it has exposed the cesspool that is party politics, in both sides.
Given his personality and drive?
Think about it.
I haven't heard of many lottery winners turning $1 Million into $8 Billion.
How some have the impression that Donald Trump is stupid and makes bad decisions is beyond me.
No, I didn’t mean to infer that only Vietnam Veterans are eligible for President, but if you avoided service by deferments or running to Canada you are persona non grata to me, unless of course you are MY only hope to bury Hillary, then I will hold my nose and punch that screen real-estate next to your name, oh wait, it don’t matter in Texas, even Romney took it, so I will sit it out again.
Trump protecting delegates he earned with actual votes. Different than sleazeball Cruz.
Too bad Ted put this election in the gutter now everyone has to go down there to clean up.
Blah blah blah. Whine whine whine.
Mature response. Extra credit for not throwing in a twisted spelling of Trump though. Well done.
It is a response worthy of the dumba$$ talking points you post.
Their out.
Jedi.
Pssssssstttttt.....hey pal....pal.....psssst...need delegates?
That is one idiotic statement my friend
All I ever hear from cruz now is him trashing Trump and then when he gets an interview he sates to the people that we must look at the issues.
