Cruz thinks he has Salem Media and doesn’t need/want Drudge. What he’s gambling on is that Salem won’t abandon him...they’re not exactly real Cruz fans...having supported other more centrist establishment hacks that Trump forced out, before being left with only Cruz to endorse.
Drudge is full-on in the tank for Trump big league. Cruz does not have the option to “need/want” Drudge. Drudge turned into an anti-Cruz attack dog weeks if not months ago. Cruz is simply telling the truth about what is obvious reality to all Drudge readers by now.
