We think wed need to increase menu prices by something like 50 percent. Its not something weve done before. Itd be catastrophic.
...oh now that’s easy to fix! Anybody who eats at White Castle will get a raise to whatever amount they need to cover the cost! WC will just to know where all of their customers work and talk with their employers. See? Easy!!

Having spent a good deal of my life overseas....about three years ago, I made a trip to a White Castle (hadn’t been to one since the late 1980s). The quality had gone downhill drastically, and I probably won’t go back.

Automation. That is how other fast food joints are doing it. Automation. These geniuses just protested themselves out of the only jobs that they may be qualified for.

Hiking the Minimum Wage will equal AUTOMATION VERY SOON!

I’m sure some of the people pushing higher wages will be upset over higher prices just like those students out on the west coast are simultaneously demanding the university pay higher minimum wages while protesting a hike in tuition.

Minimum wage is the minimum job allowed to be performed. If the job is worth less then it may not be performed.

White Castle doesn’t understand the goal of the law.
The goal is to reduce the number of jobs so more people end up on the government dole. Then, they will become reliable Democrat voters.
Silly White Castle, they think laws are passed to help people.

I've noticed that fast-food prices have already risen quite a bit, and our $15-per-hour minimum is still several years away. It used to be that one person could go to most fast-food places for about $5. Now, that has moved up to about $7-10 at most places, and fish and chips will usually cost more than that. And low-level chains like Shari's will cost you $14-18 per person in my area.
As for White Castle, never heard of it before; I don't think they have any presence of the West Coast.

The crony-corporatist complex doesn’t like the competition from small businesses. Increasing the minimum wage is a way to eliminate them.

It was always downhill! That’s its virtue. It’s only meant to absorb all that booze consumed on Saturday night.

I'm surprised that a business with the name 'White' in it isn't flagged for racism, bigotry, and phobia. Shut those white privilege boys down!

Liberals simply cannot see the cause and effect of raising the minimum wage. To them it is all static.

"But its a ripple effect."
People forget about that. Raising the minimum wage means that all the wages above the minimum wage will need to be raised as well, to account for the normal wage gaps between jobs with varying skill and responsibility levels.
