We have a Hungarian restaurant a couple of towns over, but it isn't that good; sadly. So we just eat my cooking. LOL
My own best guess is that the DRUDGE photo you were discussing goes with one of the DRUDGE titles— the one where TRUMP floats some VP names. Rubio, Kasich, Walker, etc., I forgot the others. Meaningless at this time, I would think, but for sending a signal to the Establishment that they can be at ease with his VP choice, or maybe even let them select the son of a gun. LOL!

It is Ube ice cream, and yes, it is made from purple yams. It is one of her favorites. Me, not so much. I am quite happy with Strawberry!
One of the most difficult adjustments for me is the Philippine use of dried fish. It is a staple of their diet since it is cheap. It smells terrible when cooking. On the other hand, I love her "kinilaw". It is a fresh yellow-fin tuna salad/seviche, marinated with cities juice and vinegar, and with slices of cucumber, onion, and chilies.

Yep...it’s Wednesday afternoon at 5:30p at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall (its gorgeous!) in the Oakland neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh. The University of Pittsburgh Main Campus borders the Hall. Carnegie Mellon is close by as is both Carlow and Chatham Colleges. Pitt also has their medical center nearby (many city blocks of hospitals associated w/UPMC and medical office buildings). It is a highly contested area.
DJT then has a second rally, near downtown Pittsburgh at the David L Lawrence Convention Center at 7:30p.
To add to the traffic/public safety concerns is the Pittsburgh Penguins playing a sold out playoff hockey game at Consol Energy Center (kinda a half way point between Oakland and the Convention Center) ALONG WITH a Pirate baseball game on the North Shore at PNC Park.
A lot going on for a BIG small town.
No, but I want to try making them with sauerkraut. The only times I’ve had those is when my aunt (married to my mom’s brother) made them using homemade sauerkraut and they were delicious. Our side of the family always used tomatoes instead of sauerkraut, so I use tomatoes.

I get why Cruz is not liked in NY (though I think I saw him with some of the more orthodox Jews and they looked happy). I don’t get Kasich either - he’s not inspiring to me and looks kinda frumpy/schlumpy. That said, I think he did ok in the debates (except for the constant Karate chops) and I don’t have a clue what he’s saying on the campaign trail - don’t watch him but probably should.
Kasich is a liberal, all the way, so he should do ok in parts of NY. But do you think any of his supporters even know what TPP is much less that Kasich supports it 100%.
I have to wonder what Cruz’ motivation is. Does he really believe the gop-e is going to back him? Or, does he think he is that brilliant and can somehow win the nom and the election?
I know the Dems will be making the NBC status an issue. Regardless, if valid or not, it will be a problem. He must know this!

There are 4 or 5 posters that I actually cringe when I see their ID. I had never felt that way before this year.
However, there are also many posters that make me smile when I see their names!

No, they probably don’t know he supports TPP and I suspect he never mentions that, his stance on illegal immigration, etc. (or if he does, he couches it in such a ways that makes it sound OK - or, maybe he’s “evolved” on the various subjects OR, may be lies like Ted).
