If NJ denies Cruz ballot access due to fraud, Cruz will take to the airways accusing Trump of setting him up yet again.
For a Constitutional lawyer, Cruz doesn’t get basics.
Depends on where you want to be, inside the venue, in relation to the speaker.
Do you want to be on the crowd line and meet Trump, or take the chance to meet Trump?
Do you want a seat?
Do you want a view?
The rule of thumb or trick of the trade... is to get in line 4-6 hours before the doors open. There is the additional hours of waiting, once inside the inner sanctum, before the event begins that one has to endure.
I have been to a number of like events, and the earlier one goes, the better the chances. It’s just the way it is.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Know where the restrooms are located.
Limit diuretics like caffeine, alcohol, or medicines that will induce a restroom call.
Gauge your water intake and plan accordingly.
Bring bottles of water.
Pace your intake.
Get a ticket that’s reserved off of Eventbrite.
Park tactically/strategically.
Have a GREAT time being among your own kind. That’s half the fun as it is a wonderful experience and a solid reinforcement as to what is at stake.
OK. Follow my posting above. Am out gleaning the threads and hunting on line The FR thread on it is quite nasty as one can imagine. Calling respected lawyers liars etc
Cboldt is going to need our support and some well deserved rest

NIKK, I don’t have an answer for this problem. Honestly, there are some Cruz supporters who I want nothing to do with. The rabid hatred and the inability to come out of their admiration long enough to think things out is non existent. It makes unifying with them impossible, because I can’t trust them. Look, Trump is flawed. I have my suspicions as to how much of a conservative he truly is. But what I will tell you is that out of every one running, he is the only individual I believe. I see in him shades of Andrew Jackson and parallels to Jacksonian politics. That is not a bad thing.
As for Ted Cruz. His time in the sun is over after the primaries. I’m doubtful Texas will tolerate him for much longer. But who knows.......... As the Chinese say, we live in interesting times.
It took me a while to see that they weren't reading my posts, at least not the links. I
Cruz supporters = eyes wide shut.
Hi Davey, I’m saddened today. Need a pick up from my Trump Family. What I’m referring to is the Colorado mess. This is scary stuff and way too many Cruz supporters are okay with cheating people out of votes so long as their candidate benefits. I pray to God this is not the new norm in our society. Legal voter suppression is what it amounts to. And that is frightening because I remember what Reince Prebis said, “The Party will pick the nominee.” And Cruz supporters think Donald Trump is bad?????
If not a ruling, at last some sort of report from Williams as to how the hearing went.
YES
Latest article found says that in NJ CRUZ must prove he is eligible not that we have to prove he is not. I remember you pointing that out to me before but this article brought it home and may help others understand where we are

I do like the men better as it’s more traditional. They had some ladies on this morning, too that did a fairly good job. Here’s a vid where a group of men teamed up with the ladies to sing Lida Rose from the Music Man - they had never sung together before and only had a couple of hours practice.
Heheh ... I’m pretty well rested. Got exhausted a couple months ago, heavy research, fleshing out my understanding and arguments, and so forth. Pretty much replying as the mood suits me, I don’t think it makes much difference to rebut all those who misstate or misunderstand Rogers v. Bellei and related cases. Most people posting on FR are entrenched, so argument is either a waste of time or entertainment.
What is the Wagner premise?
How does Wagner have standing?
You’re smarter than I am. it took me a while to figure it out.
Looking back, he accomplished absolutely nothing for all that bravado. It was all talk.
Yeah, it doesn’t matter how brilliant our posts might be, they react like we said nothing. It’s just like dealing with liberals ;(
Trump didn't expect to pick up anything from Colorado anyway, so whatever action swirls around events there can only help, provided he doesn't obsess over it. I read a report that Manafort began his work there, figured out that the Colorado republican party had already moved to shut out pro-Trump delegates, and decided that further efforts there would be a waste.
Just look at it as a winner take all state, where Cruz won. On the other hand, Florida is a winner take all state, and Trump got those.
-- that is frightening because I remember what Reince Prebis said, "The Party will pick the nominee." --
Priebus is correct. I think Trump knows that he is engaged in the political equivalent of a hostile takeover. Such an effort is bound to be messy.
Trump's campaign is doing fine, but the race isn't over. One aspect that is overlooked is the unbound delegates. Many of those will be pro-Trump, and none of those are being accounted for in the race to a majority of delegates. We'll see how the party reacts to further delegate accumulation by Trump. It might accept the fact that he's popular and has a chance, or it might continue to fight, even going so far as to set a supermajority threshold for getting the party's nomination.
Hi NM,
Hope DH is doing well.
I know the Colorado thing is a bit disheartening, but I have faith in Trump, his team, and the voters in the upcoming states to do the right thing.
In case you missed it, Mr. T was on Fox & Friends early this morning - here’s the video:

Looking forward to him knocking it out of the park again in Albany tonight! :-)
Best,

It’s easier to walk away and assume they are getting paid by the word !
One of dads pet peeves was the brief that wasn’t brief Verbacious!
Chin up, navymom.
We have a big rally tonight!
It’s a long haul, and there are bound to be ups and downs.
Don’t get too high or too low.
There are about 100 days until the gope convention, 57 days to the cali primary, and 200 days to the general election.
Take breaks as needed.
:)
P.S. You’ll feel better after Trump sweeps through the NE.
I think that is just the editor's headline prerogative speaking, and doesn't necessarily reflect the legal presumptions.
I haven't found any of the filings in that case, and also haven't studied NJ election law and ballot objection law, but the usual course is that the "application" for ballot access is presumed true, which shifts the burden to opponents to produce contrary evidence.
Williams has produced contrary evidence, Cruz's Canadian BC. At that point, the case looks like all the others. The Sec. of State can decline to rule on the merits for various reasons (Cruz's lawyer will cover those bases very well), or can rule on the merits after considering arguments from both sides.
