Donald Trump Could Be Headed For A Catastrophic General Election Defeat by Jack Mirkinson

April 3, 2016 T Donald Trump could be headed towards a catastrophic general election defeat if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee, according to a host of recent polling and analysis.

There were gasps on Friday when the University of Virginia’s Larry Sabato posted new projections showing that Trump could lose the Electoral College vote to Hillary Clinton 347-191.

Sabato is not alone in forecasting such a wipeout. Trump is trailing both Clinton and Bernie Sanders by double digits in some national polls.

The second rate, divorced actor that is known for doing a movie with Bonzo the monkey, is being crushed in the polls by the current pResident, jimmah carther.

It’s pretty damn hard to win an election when you have your own party trying to cheat you out of it and the opposing political party running against you too. I have my doubts that Trump will even get a chance to represent the bastardly republican party but if there were ENOUGH 3r party supporters he may just prove them all wrong. Trump sure as hell couldn’t be worse than odumbo, hitlary or Bernie.

Cruz will ensure that the whole deal is a catastrophe - something the “Cruz or Lose”ers don’t seem to recognize. Once again, who are the delegates that Cruz is persuading really loyal to? If you think the answer is “Cruz” then you are in for a really rude awakening - get ready with the excuses once Hillary is in the WH...

“Trump COULD be, Cruz WOULD be.”

The polls have consistently shown the opposite. The younger and much more articulate Cruz would do better against Queen Hilliary - beating her handily I believe.

Trump did get grated by the Big Cheese a week ago where Cruz walloped him by double digits in every demographic group.

The Democrats voted for Cruz in Wisconsin's open primary to keep him in the race.

If Cruz was such a "threat", and Trump such a "loser", the Democrats in Wisconsin could have sealed that particular deal last Tuesday by voting for Trump.

They wanted Ted to stay in because he's the crluzer... LOL! :)

The Reagan Democrats in Wisconsin voted for Trump in the northern and western counties, where Rick Santorum stomped the squish Romney in 2012.

Unfortunately, the Democrat vote factories in the eastern Wisconsin Big Cities churned out the victory margin to keep the crluzer in the race...

Trump is going to win it all!

Go Trump!

That nasty sleazeball Cruz would lose like Bob Dole.

Latest - and finally an honest poll has Trump 44 to Clinton’s 45 and Trump hasn’t even started on her. Shut up Larry.

Because Cruz isn’t hated by 69% of the country. The hate for Trump transcends party affiliation.

GOPee guys like you make me laugh, Jedi.

You slashed the tires on the Trump campaign car, kicked in the side panels and keyed the paint job, and now you're complaining about the slashed tires, dents and scratches.

The GOPee and its Charlie McCarthy "Teddie" the Unipatsy NEVER went after 0bama this hard.

We chose the best candidate, not the best one rated by the Leftist MSM with crafty polls and the like.

From your own observation, or recollection, to what degree did Reagan then and to what degree do you see Trump relying on such polls now?

FReegards!

Okay. I got it now. "Good" Democrats vote for Trump. "Bad" Democrats vote for Cruz.

Is that it?

If the election were held today, who would be your first choice for President of the United States?

Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?

Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?

I doubt it. This is shaping up as the Romney Obama race. Hillary will win because either way a good portion of the Republican base won’t turn out for Cruz or Trump. Yes a non vote for either one is a vote for Hillary but you can’t have such a bloodletting as we have here and not expect it. Yes it won’t be in anyone’s own best interest, but the hate runs deep and it is often human nature to extract revenge even against one’s own interest, it ins’t logical, but it is more often true than not.

In fact my post more than likely reinforced your likelyhood to do such, just as your post added another layer to my own.

Yet another GOPe Hitpiece—Trump can’t win—put up a winning guy! Like Dole, or McCain, or Mittens. Note the GOPe have a poor reccord for winning. A few polls taken months ago shouldn’t be how we judge this race.
