COLORADO SPRING, Colo. Sen. Ted Cruz finished Colorado's delegate fight the way he started it: With overwhelming victory.
Donald Trump finished it the way he started as well: With a disorganized and frustrated campaign plagued by mistakes.
Cruz took all 13 of the delegates up for grabs on Saturday to complete a clean sweep of the state. Delegates endorsed by his campaign swept all seven Congressional District conventions held over the last week as well, which added another 21 delegates. Another three slots are reserved for state party officials.
"Today was another resounding victory for conservatives, Republicans, and Americans who care about the future of our country," the Cruz campaign said in a statement Saturday night. . . .

Shows what too much pot will do to one. Colorado, the pot capitol of America and it shows.

You don’t have the brains God gave a pigeon.
You think the GOPe will ever let Cruz get close to the nomination?
What blind idiots the Cruzers are.
There’s that “chaotic” tag again.... Whatever you think of Trump, when you see that label, you know you’re being fed the approved #neverTrump media meme. Somebody sat down and decided that labeling the campaign “chaotic” was the perfect flip side boomerang of Trump’s “low energy” description of Bush.
“Trump is playing full contact checkers. Cruz is playing 3D Spok-like chess.”
ROTFL! That is a great way to say it, and I’m a Trump supporter.
That said, it’s still not clear which game needs to be played here.
Lookit the stuff crazy uncle Joe gets away with.
Think about it Donald.
International audiences when ever ya wanna say what everybody wants to hear, without being controlled by the press. Blow off some steam, goof off, or help Ted get this ship off the rocks.
Teds got all the charm /s but he knows the Constitution and with Donald right there he aint gonna get away with more treason from the right.
We are all on the same team - having a bit of trouble with quarterback selection right now - but we all have pretty much the same vision for how to take back our country.
Both men are good and strong. Each has strengths. Trump commands the popular attention. Ground game is Cruz's. And today you have credit that for this Colorado sweep.
This doesn't make Ted dishonest, admittedly it does give him a distinct advantage. Don't turn Bernie on us and stomp your feet for an equal anything. It's just the way it is, atm. It isn't Ted's fault for it being this way.
I wish you Trump supporters would get your story straight. Either Cruz is the GOPe candidate, or he is not. Stop trying to have it both ways.
btw, Cruz supporters already know the GOPe hates Cruz. This isn't some new revelation you just invented.
Why would anyone care what Cruz supporters think? They get the same respect they show voters. None.
Cruzers are so 'inside the box' thinkers they can't conceive of the idea that Cruz is not only the GOPe candidate, but that he is also so hated by the GOPe that he will be 'offed' at the appropriate time.
That lack of vision isn't surprising, wisdom has never been a Cruz strong suit.
Cruz will never be the Republican candidate on the ballot.
In the very unlikely event he becomes the nominee, the NBC lawsuits will be quickly filed.
On Saturday, Trump backers passed out flyers at the convention site with official campaign slate of 13 delegates and 13 alternates accompanied by their three-digit number position on the 600-plus person ballot. Seven of the names, however, directed people to the wrong number and one delegate’s name was misspelled. Other candidates did not have errors on their slates.
In one case, an erroneous number corresponded with a Cruz supporter. A second flyer handed out by the Trump campaign contained four mismatched names and numbers. <<<<
First sentence question. WHO wrote the “Official Campaign Slate” of the 13 delegates? Trump’s people may have made the pamphlet, but who did the official stuff? Who was supposed to check this official slate out?
I heard there were other problems as well that had nothing to do with Trump..ballot errors and such.
