“Father: Rafael Bienvenido Cruz, did not become a naturalized U.S. citizen himself until 2005.”

HOW?

HOW did Rafael Bienvenido Cruz become a naturalized U.S. citizen?

Answer: Because Ted Cruz’s mother was a US citizen in 2005.

Rafael Bienvenido Cruz was MARRIED to a US citizen, Ted Cruz’s mother.

That’s HOW Rafael Bienvenido Cruz was eligible to become a naturalized US citizen.

Game. Set. Match. You lose. Stop lying.

You're really dense Moseley. Which is probably why you're the designated CruzBot mouthpiece for this morning's Teddy Talking Points. See my post #420. Go back and read my post #72.

There are no lies in those posts. The FACT is, according to Cruz' father, BOTH parents became Canadian citizens, which prior to 1977 required an oath by Canada to disavow any and all previous allegiances to other nations. Cruz' mother would have had to take that oath.

But here is where your semi-critical thinking abilities break down:

You are quick to prattle "Cruz' father became a naturalized citizen because his wife was a U.S. citizen" and that may be correct, HOWEVER:

No official proceeding had taken place to strip her of her U.S. citizenship based upon the State Department's own guidelines (see post #72 again).

HOWEVER, her oath prior to Cruz' birth in 1970 (again, according to Cruz' father, they became Canadian citizens prior to that birth) means that Cruz is 100 percent Canadian, born and bred (for at least 4 years) on Canadian soil.

If you're going to play Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf for King Cruz, at least get the nifty looking little green beret, ok?
