It’s more than a political statment - it’s a mission statement. And it was executed by the Colorado GOP as a mission statement.

I am certain that plewis1250 is too much of a hypocrite and a coward to take a look at the video. The guy sums up my feelings exactly. Yeah, the Cruz team and the GOPe played by the “rules” alright; the rules that say the house always wins. The GOPe was already holding a gun to their own head and the Colorado GOP just pulled the trigger. I would like to hear the tune these smug Cruzer’s who have advocated this type of thing are going to be playing when the GOP bosses toss Cruz aside at the Convention.

“All Cruz can do is burn down the GOP “

Which is exactly what the eGOP wants. IF they can’t win then no one wins. They are petulant children.

Cruz wouldn’t have won a vote. He had to find a way around voters. Screw him and his GS wife he cheated on.

My point was that the delegates chosen are firmly chosen. That won't be reversed.

And in a way, the Nuremberg Trials had no remedy looking backward. Nobody was or can be resurrected. The remedy in that trial was death and imprisonment for those charged and convicted.

I'm not saying the complaints have no effect. At the very least they put some people on notice, and to the extent the complaints are viewed as credible, some delegates may be turned-off to the wrong-doer, for whatever that is worth.

Politics, like government, is an exercise of raw power. The control mechanisms to hold that power in check are vague and unreliable.

When are you deluded Trumpets going to understand there is no GOP without Cruz voters...?

I can tell you this, if you try and shovel the pile that is Trump down the throats of Cruz voters they will stay home. Period.

1237.

That is the number. Majority of the delegates. Get there and win. Fail, and go home.

Cruz is not going to them, they are coming to him.
That is the difference.

****

Then lets get this done. Burn the place down and see what’s left in four years.

-Side note, but the Dems are in the same boat. Wonder what they’ll do... Any thoughts?

That still doesn't make it unethical. This isn't the first time a political party gave a cold shoulder to a leading member. At least, as observers, we will infer what we will about the values of the combatants, with the party choosing sides while claiming not to be choosing sides.

Eventually, what changes the party is turnover. Right now, the party is the party of go-along to get-along Bush, Romney, Ryan, Preibus, McConnell, McCain, Graham, etc. It keeps them in clover.

Somebody has to be in charge as the world transitions from nation states to new world order. And those somebodies will be known as "the powerful." This isn't now and never has been the same as "the people."

#nevertrump is more than a simple political statment - it’s a mission statement. And it was executed by the Colorado GOP as a mission statement. The tweet the actions, and the result is proof #nevertrump was the mission statement the party elites were executing. That is not we-the people.

It’s unethical. Quit defending it as moral, rational, or ethical. It is unethical to outright defy the voice of we-the-people. That was their professed mission statement, on record for all to see.

Bush: “I’ve abandoned free market principles to save the free market system”

Cruz: “I’ve abandoned democratic principles to save the democratic principles.”

What’s to watch? I know nothing of this man or what happened?
How do we know he was elected a delegate at the precinct convention?
From the sounds of it, he wasn’t.

But maybe the little precinct captain at some precinct in Douglas county CO was really in the establishment’s dole... Had recieved a cash donation direct from Goldman Sachs...

It was a her... I bet she’s a former Cruz mistress as well...

Grow.
Up.

Trump lost.
He can’t even organize a simple election for delegates, and you want this man running the country...?

When are you deluded Branch tRumpidians going to understand that without support from Cruz voters that tRump isn’t going to be elected dog catcher.

Bought and paid for career politician Ted Cruz and his GOP plantation porch conservative supporters are going nowhere. They will support the entire GOP ticket because they have pledged fealty to Cruz, Rinse, Ryan and the rest of the GOP establishment.

And my point is that whether Trump gets some official party nomination redress or not, there will be justice in the votes of his supporters that proceed onward after the nomination. If the prevailing sentiment is that there was dirty-but-party-legal monkey business, look for even more voters than 2012 who refused to hold their nose and take it up the keester "one more time."

Cruz, Ryan, WHOEVER gets nominated under a cloud of suspicion despite 'according to playing by delegate rules' will NOT win the general election.
