You know what, I have respect for women.
This makes my blood boil.
Some guy does something like this to the woman in my life, and he wouldn’t be doing it to anyone else. I can guarantee you that.
When governments side up with the rapists, it’s time to yank some of those yahoos out by their nose and beat the livin snot out of them.
I’m trying to imagine what kind of political pressure would move someone to try to cover that up. It’s not like they didn’t already have a system ready to address rapes. It’s like someone didn’t want to be embarrassed and was putting their own personal feelings above the good of their society.
This reminds me of the LAPD being ordered not to make any references to Islam in their reports, even if it’s clearly an honor killing.
