The Republican Party Says Your Vote No Longer Counts

They wouldn’t be able to count it in November if they play their dirty tricks.

Completely true. But the guy that isn’t a political lawyer and doesn’t live off the gubberment also goes on reality TV and pro-wrestling when he doesn’t have to, but just because he digs it or something. He was already an obviously succesful business man. Why reality TV and pro-wrestling?

Weirdness abounds on all sides. It is absolutely no weirder than wanting to be president in 2016 as a political lawyer.

Why not admit you have no clue how a caucus system works? It’d be easier and save you a lot of typing...

Judge Jeanine covered this, tonight. She did a great job. She also interviewed Trump and had the RNC comm director on, afterwards.....who never would go in to details about the rules. She’d just repeat...the selection of delegates is a grass roots selection. Ha! Sure it is. Insiders only may apply.

I am sorry but you are wrong. Rules are rules. Why didn’t Trump know? Cruz campaign knew.

For years I’ve read posts on here slamming this guy or that guy that “has never created a job, never met a payroll, never had a real job outside the government”. Now they’re all supporting Cruz, a man who meets all the above criteria.
And they’re against the guy who has created jobs, met a payroll and never worked for the government.

I’m with you and I’m fed up. After I vote in the closed Pennsylvania Primary for Trump, this lifelong Republican is tearing up my registration card and going Independent. Than you Mitt Romney, National Review and dozens of other slime who gleefully disregard the voters.

The Republican Party isn’t the problem. We’re the Republican Party. It’s the parasitic infection that must be voted out of office.

Want change? Let’s organize a list of the elected traitors from top to bottom in order to vote them out of office.

RE:”(Vanity) The Republican Party Says Your Vote No Longer Counts, Enlightened1 “

Hey,
when you support a candidate too lazy or incompetent to make sure his team is competent enough to understand the rules, after he voluntarily joined the party as a nominee, your votes will be lost by their incompetency.

I support Ted Cruz, He makes sure my votes count!

Jeeze, if Trump cant run his campaign how is he possibly going to call up all those world leaders on his first day in office and get them to start sending the US all that $$$, build the wall, and send back our manufacturing plants?

As well as pay off that $19T in debt in eight years, while cutting taxes and fully funding SS and Medicare?

2 of the last 3 contested conventions, the candidate who won the plurality of the popular vote lost in the convention. So no. This article is false.

This isn’t a general election it’s a party primary. A plurality isn’t the majority of Republican voters. You aren’t the majority.

One bright spot I see in all this slapstick tragedy that's going on is that the corrupt and unrepresentative nature of the process in general and the caucus systems in particular is making national headlines to an extent I have not seen before. Even if Cruz/GOPe do ultimately stop Trump, a sleeping giant seems to have been awakened; and the selection system upon which they depend is starting to crack.

We will see.

If Trump wins outright, my vote counts.
If Trump wins a contested convention, my vote counts.

If Trump is rejected by the GOP despite being the clear front runner, then it’s the GOP that no longer counts. Because if they do that, then they don’t offer an alternative to the Democrats and there is no way to reform them.

There are only five states where the delegates are not bound to the candidate who won them in the primary.

These are the RNC's rules. Their own rules. So, how does Cruz get delegates that are BOUND to another candidate by the party's own rules?

The primary process is to determine delegates, not a direct vote for a candidate.

Until one understands that fact, discussion is meaninglessly mired in error.

In my lifetime, not a single American citizen has directly cast a vote for nor directly elected any man for the presidency of the United States in any General Election. The last time that ever happened, was....never. (Article 2, Section 1, US Constitution)
