Cruz was not better prepared after losing the south so badly. But the GOPe was with most of the delegates lined up from the party insiders. It boggles the mind why Cruz supporters attribute to Cruz what the GOPe did after they came in. They only needed to claim being for Cruz to stop Trump. However that would not explain why the GOPe is so sure Paul Ryan or another Rino is getting it.

The simpilist explanation is usually the right one. Cruz used the existing GOPe system - he did not create a new one from the shambles of his southern loss.

Cruz lost the South to some degree because of the large field of candidates. We don't know how it would have turned out if some of the players had gotten out earlier- Cruz may have won more states-but maybe not.

The GOPe will ensure a major revolt if they nominate someone other than Cruz or Trump.

If Trump gets to 1237, he better not be denied. He is not my choice, but that doesn't matter, of course.

GOP needs to go away and we need a different party that stands for Constitutional government- a tiny federal government and strong States.

However, if the Democrats win Zero's third term, we may not recover after that to restore the Republic.
