The vast majority of the American presidents were anything but, what they appear to imagine "presidential" to mean!
Many of our FFs/first presidents were foul mouthed, nasty, arrogant, and underhanded; however, they spoke in a manner that is very different from how we speak today and uneducated fools, who have a paucity re vocabulary are impressed by their word usage.
Trump is NOT an "elitist", he talks like a "regular" person, when addressing his supporters and in debates. I much prefer THAT, than those who use lawyerly WEASEL WORDS and/or a vocabulary to obfuscate.
Trump is NOT "rude"! He's unabashedly unPC; GOD love him!
| Very good, nopardons. This term "presidential" is a malignant cancer produced by our PC culture. Its effect is to elevate people of style/talk over those of substance/accomplishment. The 2012 election was the high tide of this "presidential" con game. Both Romney and Obama are creatures of style. I'm preparing a vanity story on this subject.
