The North Dakota GOP this weekend picked the 25 delegates it will send to this summers national Republican conventiona complicated and opaque process that involved one group of delegates voting for another group of delegates without knowing which presidential candidate they actually support. Naturally, then, all three GOP hopefuls claimed varying degrees of victory, none more than Ted Cruz.
Cruz Declared Winner in North Dakota, blared a Cruz press release that quoted the candidate boasting of a resounding victory in a contest where none of the delegates were actually awarded to any of the candidates. Whether we defeat Donald Trump before the convention or at it, Im energized to have the support of the vast majority of North Dakota delegates, the Texan said. ...
That left the outcome of Sundays vote cloudy at best, though of the three, Cruz had the strongest claim to having the best weekend. His boast of victory was based on the fact that 18 of the 25 delegates selected were on a list of options that his team circulated to loyalists ahead of the vote. But, as several reporters at the convention discovered, at least a few of the delegates on the Cruz-approved list werent as squarely in the Cruz camp as that list suggested. I have no idea how my name got there, Nathan Joraanstad, one of listed delegates, told the New York Times.

Cruz strong arm tactics fail in ND, where he lost key floor vote & helped elect delegates who will vote @johnkasich in Cleveland. #NDGOP16

Ted is really good at offending voters.
New Hampshire, New York, now North Dakota...
What a sage.
Who in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is John Weaver?
BWAAAAHAHAHA posting Slate to disparage a strong Republican conservative....you’re pathetic.
Cruz was used like a blow up doll by the GOPe . The whole thing was Scott Walker who is loved by the people in Wisconsin, who do very little thinking , as a general proposition. Cruz will never get there and will be thrown away by the oligarchy. Sad really.
Actually you guys are pathetic who also post from Slate.
Teduh never seems to play well with others.
Kinda difficult as I’ve never been to their site.
You don’t hear many folks talking about it, but Felito does have a rep. You’re comments seem to fall in line with it.
Hey ‘a view from the left’ glass house stone thrower.
This guy does it all the time.
Salon.

Doesn’t stop so-called “strong conservatives” from posting articles from it, the NY Times, Buzzfeed, and other such sources if they think it help Cruz.
But I’ll bet you totally spoke out about that usage, did you?
Salon good when Cruzers do it, band when Trump fans do it.
OK, we see how you think.
Trojan Ted amd dreamy Kasich seem to have no grounding in reality.. I think being delusional is a worse character trait than lying...
With the exception of some internet sites Cruz cant pull the votes...
Then talk to to him but don’t accuse me of doing it.
It used to be unacceptable on this forum... period.
You’re the one complaining about it. So you complain to them.
The Walker thing sure, but the rope-a-dope on these wannabe Tedlim Dominionists was hilarious. Particularly from the pastor of a nice but small Milwaukee church who the journolista conned into committing false witness against the likes of Jerry Falwell Jr. & Robert Jeffress.
I smell a budding megalomaniac sprouting from Texas.
Ironic - from the folks who post from Slate/Salon/Huffington/NYT/MSNBC and anyone else who smears Trump with no mention of Cruz at all - because they're all for what Cruz is doing now as it will greatly increase Hillary's odds. Speaking of pathetic.....you remind me of the kid next store who was mad at my little brother. He said, "Scotty, I'm going to hit you but don't you hit me back". He went home crying........
