Drudge Report editor and Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt took a look at the state of the Republican presidential primary on Thursdays edition of Breitbart News Daily with SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon.
Hurt said the Republican Establishment loves talking about convention rules, floor fights, and the fine points of delegate behavior because it allows them to avoid a far deeper and more important problem they have, and that is that they are completely out of touch with Republican voters.
They opened this huge avenue for Donald Trump, who isnt like them, whos an outsider, who is flamboyant, and is a force unlike anybody else, he continued. They allowed him to walk in, and the guy was one hundred percent in tune with voters on everything.

Having covered Ted Cruz, and what he has done in the Senate ever since he has been here, to see him now as the henchman and handmaiden of the Establishment to block Donald Trump? Hurt marveled, scoffing at the suggestion that the Establishment is actually moving in Cruzs direction on the issues or that they would allow him to win the White House and become the nominal leader of the Republican Party.
It is not going to work, Hurt declared. All he is doing is, hes doing their work to prevent Donald Trump from clinching the nomination.

But of course you failed to bring up what Ted said as he was kicking off his Presidential campaign. I just knew that nasty little fact would leave you speechless on the true character of Ted Cruz. Because it is easier to point out something that might be untrue, and ignore what your own candidate actually said about the banks he was doing business with.
Disingenuous.
As for who's been disingenuous in our discussion, thats best left to anyone who happens to be reading it.
If you will make a good faith effort to not dismiss my response outright, I'll take a stab at your request. As part of this good faith, please note that I'm going to explain the Establishment's motivations, but these motivations should not be construed to indicate Cruz agrees with them.
Cruz is being supported by the Establishment because they have found someone they detest more than Cruz. They are cozying up to Cruz because they hope this support is remembered if and when Cruz is the leader of the party. If Trump gets the nomination, the Establishment can expect scorched earth among themselves (personal threat) and many truly believe Trump will be a disaster as a candidate (organizational/party threat). So, they are looking to Cruz as the only man who can prevent a mixture of personal and party damage.
Given this, it is silly to think that the Establishment wouldn't endorse/support someone, and they've rightly decided supporting Kashich is a waste of time (can't win) and supporting Hillary is not what Republicans do (except Trump - ha!).
You have a Biblical level of delusion to support a known and bragging adulterer and claim you are a Conservative.
Unlike you, I don't worry about what others say, either in support or in criticism. Instead I just call a spade a spade, Mr. Disingenuous.
Right. It all boils down to what your gut says, doesn’t it.
So I guess dumping the Constitution is just dandy as far as you are concerned.
BTW, I could have just reversed your lame deduction that required very little in thought process, but then I would have been even more lame than you. I'm too old to stoop that low.
Having extensively reviewed all articles cited in this opinion, as well as many others, this Court holds, consistent with the common law precedent and statutory history, that a natural born citizen includes any person who is a United States citizen from birth, wrote Judge Dan Pellegrini in a written opinion issued after denied the petition at a hearing Thursday.
Didn't think so.
Have a great evening.
Problem is his mother had become a Canadian citizen as she was on the voter rolls in Canada. At that time Canada did not recognize dual citizenship. So she had to have in fact renounced her American citizenship. Pellegrini's assessment is as worthless as he is.
Enjoy your brave new world where America is absolutely no different than any other country.
So, I am to assume your business is as large, diversified, and wide spread as Trump’s???
I haven’t gone bankrupt and I’ve paid my bills.
Glad to to hear that...Congratulations....
DT has called both Ryan and McConnell, too. But, the establishment knows Cruz, and while I think he will abide by the constitution, they know that they can use their balance of power against him.
DT uses lawyers as his attack dogs. Will DT use the FBI, NSA, IRS, and DOinJ against the GOPe and more importantly, can someone who buys politicians be bought? I’m asking you because you think about things.
