If Trump does not get the majority- it will be an open convention. He cannot claim the nomination if he does not reach 1237- the rules cannot be changed just because he says so. The rules were made known to all nominees last fall.

The nominee will have to be either Cruz or Trump- whoever gets to 1237 on the convention floor. If the GOP tries to put in another candidate- I agree that is game over for the GOP.
